I'm not prepared to do the google image search research, but are bees actually striped? And if they are they are horizontal? Which I agree look too rugby anyway. Whats wrong with being called the bees?

Um lets see... It wouldn't happen to be because we are the mighty Phoenix?????

What the f**k is a mariner anyway...

Mariner is another name for seamen.

I must admit i'm not a fan of strips but they would look better if they were wide stripes

Stripes would be unique (unless the Fury or GC have them of course)

I could live with that

Or we could just stick with the Ring of Fire.......

What is it with people and Bees today? Do we want to be ridiculed??

Its a Wasp, not a bee

a striped kit is still f****** horrible and the morbid fascination with yellow and black is as well. I agree the current strip is sh*te(away strip better)  you dont seem many world beaters playing in a such a dark strip. Stripes remind me of teams like hull and sheffield..urghhhhh

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

I think the best suggestion is flames on the kit. Attendances from the Hutt Valley would double overnight.

I'm thinking something like this but on a football shirt...

In fact, that chick is basically wearing our new strip. Maybe with more black and less red. But otherwise I reckon that looks pretty good.

Should probably read the previous 5 pages of posts predominantly voicing support of the stripes before you say something like that?

It can be done and must be done with elegance zini.

It really is a fantastic moment when your key theory (i.e., striped badge = striped kit) is backed up by evidence.

You're kidding yourself stripe-haters.

Well yeah the first three and the last one are all elegant, I'll give you that.

And yes stripes can be real classy. Striper haters are a minority.

We should fight them

I vote for stripes as well, the mock kit looks fairly similar to Hull City?

that was my first thought aswell...not that its a bad thing. i think that design looks ok and will probably get better the more we see it.

seeing as you're in the loop HN (or just stirring the pot with gossip ) any news on the away kit?

Well that's not going to help us play attractive football then, is it?
