Would LOVE that third one as an away strip.

We'll have a regular and an alternate strip next season. No official away kit (meaning we'll only wear the alternate strip when there's a strip clash away from home, otherwise it's stripes all the way).

No, but it will definitely be black and yellow stripes. Not sure what colour the alternate kit will be, but I'm led to believe it won't be white.

Might be black

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

I dont think it would be black..
Playing in black in aus in summer wouldnt be a very good idea.

The Black Caps have done it in the past (and occasionally successfully too!)...

Though having said that, I have to reiterate that I don't know what colour the alternate strip will be.

So we will definately have a new kit for next season? I thought it was the season after?

And our away kit should definately not be black. Sure, the Black Caps play in black there but they don't exactly run around that much. Look at the Warriors - they always suffer when they play in black in Townsville etc.

I wonder if they will do what they do in the EPL and make the previous champions have a golden league logo.
Does anyone think that would be a good idea?

Yep - and put it on the sleeve.

It will be called an alternate, rather than away, kit.

Just for fun...

That should be alternative, which means when the other is not available or able

Rather than alternate, which means every second time.

From what I have been reading, if our main strip, the one we wear at home in the ROF, does not clash when we are playing away, we will wear it. If it does clash we will wear our alternative.

Rest in peace my English teacher

While technically speaking you are correct, the strip will nevertheless be known as the 'alternate'.

That second one would especially look good on our kit ;-)

i'm pretty sure our away kit will be white, a black or yellow one would be a little useless because those colours will share the home shirt evenly.
You know we belong together...

PLEASE READ THIS PROPERLY
The ALTERNATIVE kit will Not be white.
The idea next year is to not have an "away kit" because it is being worked that each team can wear one shirt for every game.
And the alternative kit is for when there is a clash eg. Central coast. (who will have Blue and yellow stripes)
So.. You will see the Phoenix play in the "Home" kit even when playing away.

i know that, Tony P and the FFA have been telling us that for ages, it's just how I refer to our alternate, away, 2nd, change or whatever kit you want to call it.

To sum up. It's official:

Home Shirt - Stripey

Alternate/Change strip - NOT WHITE

A change from our white away kit would be good next season. I guess. Stripes on our home kit will also make us look better

Straight from the horse's mouth (kind of)

Hi Guys, I'm Tony P.

Next season we'll be stripey.
Unless, there's a colour clash. If that
happens, we won't be wearing white.
