In no particular order.

Another trip to the finals
All home games at ROF
Someone with some genuine speed signs for us and they can play
A creative midfielder
The club give us something for our loyalty in buying a season pass(Not a crappy $25 voucher)
Smash Sydney
A striker who scores
Beer at ROF drops in price
Food at ROF gets better

Sorry i realise last are impossible.

You have correctly identified the need for a proper striker. We also need a proper right back (don't think any of our options are currently adequate) and competition for Lochhead. Genuine creative midfielder that can control the game would be good too.

A proper, big, fast, out and out striker.
An attacking midfielder.
Competition for Lochhead.
Youth team.
A hot girlfriend.
Liam Reddy.
Another good centre-mid.
To be rid of Diego and several others.
Re-sign George.

Re. All games at ROF.

I love the Ring of Fire and will make an effort to be at as many games as possible next season. However the road games weren't a complete failure. Sure Ring of Dirt didn't go well, but the ChCh game sounded like a huge success. Of course Wellingtonians won't like the sound of it, but it would be good to see the Nix in Auckland. Now I hate Auckland as much as the next ex-Aucklander, but I was watching last night's game in a pub in Auckland with a pretty decent crowd. It was weird see a bunch of Aucklanders chant "oh Wellington" while in an Auckland pub!

The out-of-towners thread showed there are a lot of Aucklanders and Hamiltonians that often make the trip down to RoF (I've come down twice from Thames) and I think it would be nice to reward their commitment. Maybe a pre-season game in Auckland would be nice at the least.

Loyalgunner - You're right, a hot girlfriend would be nice, especially if she already owns a Retro Ricki!

Footpaul has it on the nose, no point having a hot missus unless she likes her football aswell. Instead of getting sh*tty when you go to a game, she gets sh*tty if you don't ask her!!

How many relationships / marriages would be saved?

I managed to get my GF and some of her friends enjoying football which made things easier for the lads. Only problem was the constant talk of the colour of boots etc that these ladies do :p

Average crowds of about 12 000 would go down a treat, as well.

Number 1 thing is to get Terry breaking even. If we did that it would be great

Got my girlfriend coming to the games. And she loves yelling at the players which is a good  alternative to yelling at me
But she also loves looking at the boots.
Her fav is Leo simply because his interesting boots. Usually the bright yellow haha

Also , i think we do need to address getting a new striker. No offence to Greenacre but he hasn't played the right part. Has looked a bit better when next to Dadi but still wasn't  inspirational.

Drop Dadi, and sign up a big tall Van Dyk player. Or someone quick like brosque. Both players have exceptional technical ability and do create for others while getting into great positions. Use the marquee spot if needed inm my opinion.
That would mean dropping Greenacre to the bench but thats fine in my opinion.

Also a creative midfielder. Not necessarily someone who is going to burst through the box on solo runs, someone who can atleast defend well enough and be creative. Like Flores?  All we need is to drop one of Brown or Lia to the bench and have this guy in the middle with good distribution skills.

The one thing we do need is this midfielder MUST be able to slip balls through the middle. We have never had the quality through the middle, only on the flanks. Someone with an eye to play balls through the center plus good width distribution would also be worthy of marquee.

The addition of these two players could really give us the firepower to break teams while still keeping our general formation and trusty defence?

didier drogba and cesc fabregas then perhaps?

I'd like to see greater commitment from other parts of the crowd to joining in with the noise.  I don't sit in FZ and having been allocated a season pass in aisle 26 found it morgue-like and usually moved to 23.  but ideally, there would be good support for the Fever from other parts too.

This ... make that striker a target man as well.

I would like to be able to bring my flag to the games. I'd like the stadium to get their head around football flags...

My flag is 4 metres by 4 metres and flies on a 5 metre long flag pole. It was made for the Kingz. It has a Kingz logo in one qudrant, a Bloc 5 logo in the opposite quadrant and black and white checks in the other two quadrants.

Ever since I moved to Wellington last year I have been thinking about modifying it to make the checks yellow and black, and changing the Kingz quadrant to a big Phoenix logo. I'd probably leave the Bloc 5 logo as a tribute top those who went before.

The only problem is I don't think I can get it into the ROF.

Big flags like the ones the Cove have behind their goal are great at football games.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Phoenix fans. We have to win them over one fan at a time.

Like everyone else, I'd like a reserve team, a 10 year licence, a targetman and a creative midfielder.
I'd also like Eugene Dadi's stylist to do the hair for the rest of the team, and Rexona to sponsor the Fever Zone.

1. A grand final appearance.
2. Another creative, tricky man beating player like Ifill in the forwards or mid-field of great quality.
3. A striker who scores more goals (As much as I appreciate Greenie's work-rate).
4. Lochhead put on the bench.

1. Compete for top 4 spot or higher again
2. 10,000+ average crowds
3. A new striker. I like Greenie but he simply doesn't work in a 4-3-3
4. A creative central midfielder in the mould of Hernandez/Miller/Corica
5. A right back + a left back to challenge Lochy
6. 10 Year license to be confirmed by FIFA and the AFC
7. Youth league team to be sorted
8. Leo to get his form back

How about for the first six at home games there is some kind of offer for first timers where the ticket cost is something like $15 (same range as going to a movie) and you have to sign and show some id for it so the process makes sure people only get it once. If it gets new bums on seats esp before the end part of the season then its got to be worthwhile in the long run stealthkiwi2010-03-15 14:29:14

Yeah it was a tad strange singing it at Foxes but good fun all the same! I'd love a pre-season game at North Harbour Stadium.

So Tony P said we only break even if there's an average of 10 000 per game?  Is that break even over the whole season of just break even for the stadium rent?  You'd think that would be the whole season but in season 1 we were 11 000 and we still made a loss overall.  We did just start from scratch, though, and there were many costs involved that weren't involved in later seasons.

Basically I went around in a circle in that post and contributed nothing.  Apologies.

most of the above, but how about no token asian, under the heading 'he must be fast, he's asian.'

maybe an asian for the sake of being decent, but please no more leileis

I think this makes for interesting viewing:
I think it wouldn't be hard to push the average attendence to over 10,000, considering the turnouts over the past few weeks. If the Nix market well ahead of next season, 10,000 should be easy.

I too would like to see a FULL Harbour Stadium decked out in yellow for a pre-season match. I'm not sure Auckland is ready for a proper season game yet though.

A midfielder that can shoot from range such as Van Dyk or Hernandez. We are great from set piece on the ground or in the year but dont seem to be able to shoot well from outside the box
