The term 'threadbare' doesn't get thrown around enough these days.

Absolutely no hopes for this one tomorrow to be honest though. They were at a low ebb before the injuries mind you, but we may as well have just sent the rest of the reserve side along...

If this was Football Manager, I'd throw all the kids out there and the motivational speech to start the game would be 'just go and have fun out there'

Just arrived at the ground for CCM v Perth, think of a slightly bigger Porirua Park if Porirua was 28 degrees with 76% humidity at 7pm. Pretty decent crowd, not that many in club colours though.

Well what are we to make of this. Both Brisbane and Perth beat us in the last few weeks, CCM beating Perth (so far). We're down to the bare bones, this doesn't bode well for tomorrow.

Well it’s been fun seeing Glory fight back to take it to extra time, even if that does mean I’m now looking at an Uber back to town rather than just making the last bus.

I reckon that the Nix need to train on the same pitch that Hurricans/Lions use at NZCIS but straight after they've finished. That way the team gets used to less than ideal pitches.

A lot of mention of the conditions in this game with players from both sides tiring.

Have to feel that will play into Roars favour tomorrow - we as a club often don't cope well in those conditions.

I can attest to feeling gross and sweaty just from sitting in the stands, so can’t even imagine how draining it must’ve been for the players.

Forecast for tomorrow is pretty much the same as today, so we really want to wrap it up without going to additional time.

Dunno if I can for this, heard Italiano on the radio this morning. Essentially saying we'll try and play our best to build for the next season, went on to say "we've had a poor could of weeks this season". A poor couple of weeks? is he deluded, he had a good few weeks to start and then it all went tits up!

The lads are on the pitch warming up, I haven’t seen anyone else in a Nix shirt yet but hoping maybe the Little Corner of Yellow or another fan group have made it here.

I did get to tease a Roar player I saw stretching out back of the stands that we’re going to beat them, to his credit I got a grin and a thumbs-up. So I’ve probably jinxed us now.
