We are playing an incredibly high line, with one of the slowest backline's in the league. Can someone make any sense of this?

 
We were quicker than the over 70s and under 10s we played in preseason.

This high line is ridiculous, we keep getting caught out with ease.

Commentators making a great point about, if you are going to be playing a backline this high, Josh needs to sweeping more

The Perth front three are working hard, covering ground and starting their sprints deep and running behind. Textbook way to destroy a high defence.

Just like last season, we currently look like a team that is pre-occupied with structure rather than execution. Our "non-football" play, sprint, tackle strength, covering ground at speed, etc is non-existant compared to our opposition.

LKH is getting no protection. And is also getting destroyed.

Interesting seeing Wooton pinging long passes for fun, when some criticised his distribution last year. And I agree, he wasn't progressive for us.

I did. This is exactly what I expected and put money on it. I didn't think we'd potentially concede 3 goals with 30 minutes though.

Wait till chief perseveres with it for the next 10 games and then complains about his mental health and some other excuses. He didn't change last season, why would we expect it now.

The worst thing about this is AFC look decent and hard to beat too. If Randall could have finished they would have won too.

That was a poor miss. Should have buried it.

Our defensive line shouldn't be so high. And our away kit shorts should be green to match the shirt collar. Shambles all round. I'm not sure which is irritating me more.

Let's face it. Chiefs inherited a side that was connected, close knit and in the same page based off Uffies hard work. He rode that coat tail and has been found out massively! The way we've started and the tactics straight up prove this. There's far better coaches in Southern, Northern and Central league. Badges aren't worth the paper they're printed on

Oh that’s good news- I’d assumed from what I’d been reading that it was a tragedy! Comedies usually have happy endings…

While we have looked good this last 10, gotta say that perf has stepped off us and let us make all the play. We've had sniffs but need to turn it into something. Even if it's purely for our confidence
