Apologies if I've not been paying attention but what's the situation with GSR? I vaguely recall he was injured but he's not down on the ins outs injured lists at all.
Realise he has had injuries but for me a big disappointment certainly hasnt lived up so far to all the hype there was about him. Couple of flashes here and there but overall nothing.
He is 18 and played 39 mins of ALM football, so I'm not worried yet. In a couple seasons time I would be.

Supyk being 19 and coming off the contract this season is the bigger question mark.

Waineo's first glimpses of first team football didn't look like much - if I recall correctly he got outpaced by a geriatric Nikolai Topor Stanley early on, largely due to not being able to read the play. I remember not being sold on Sutton too early on.

It shocked me to hear that GSR is still only 18, and Supyk 19. Give the kids time.
Annual finals disappointment enthusiast.

Sydney are one of the form teams in the AL. Not confident at all about this match. A point  would be great

Without Lolley, and up until last weekend against Macarthur where they turned it on, I actually thought they haven't been up to much but have still managed to scrape out some results.

They seem to have tweaked their system in Lolley's absence too, so its going to be a good test for our lads. We can definitely get something out of this game, but we're going to need to everyone on point from the get go.

No slow or horrific starts this week please lads!

How can you possibly impress anyone when you’re never given a chance?

From the very limited amount of time I’ve seen GSR, he’s shown promising signs.

Despite the grim weather forecast this morning it’s turning out to be a nice afternoon in Sydney. Sun’s out and Fever are off to the pub!

To be fair to be given a chance they would need to be showing up in the reserves and consistently performing in training. If they are doing neither of those things there is no way they deserve a shot at the A League team.
Fully understand how old GSR is and that there is still plenty of time, dosnt mean i still cant be underwhelmed given all they hype that preceded him. Also get he has had setbacks with injury.

Yep, only 18, far too young to judge. In 2 years time it may be safe to make that call.

What I have seen of him indicates a different skill set and position then others around his age and if he matures, one which is harder to find.

How good is it to finally have a bench with a few experienced names to bring on.

About to board a very long flight so annoyingly won't be able to watch live. Hoping for a good introduction from Tuiloma when/if he comes on and of course to see we have three points.

COYN!

Luckiest goal of all time. Shouldn't have been a free kick, fortunate deflection. But I'm not complaining

2 more fouls against Sydney and the ref lets them go. You know when Harper says they are factually a foul and nothing happens, that the Nix are being ripped. That's 4 to my count.
