As amazing as that half was, I am now petrified by how defensive we will play in the 2nd half.

Here's the perfect opportunity to put memories of that game to bed. It was something of a fluke anyway imo. Get a 3rd goal and we can stop stressing.

This is one of those games where we need to keep the foot on the throat and go at them.

CCM making the changes, Roux leaves head hanging in shame cos he's been god awful! Ballard into central midfield.

Hopefully Uffie's instructions havent been sit back an control this, we need to hit them ahrd and fast.

Hopefully they learned from the ladies

Kosta's best game thus far! has been slow to settle but he's showing today what he has been doing for Sydney and Mebourne.

I expected Kaltak to be a lot better given all the talk of how we let him go and noone paying him any attention for a decade, I men he's an ok aleague CB but he's not exactly brilliant. Still fallable to a decent through ball, and still making last second diving tackles. I'm a bit meh over him to be fair.

Has anyone else noticed that most of the times someone scores they run over to Sasse and celebrate as if he is the reason they scored. Seems like a popular member of the squad.

Missed the team news: why isn't Pennington in the squad?

been saying it all season, regardless of what we see on the pitch on gameday, the squad clearly love Sasse for what he brings during the week and to the club itself, which for mine is as equally as important as what happens on gameday.

Good work Payne and Laws.

Payne was never looking to make the tackle, just did what every good defender does, make your presence known and track back, let the striker make the mistake. Great cover from Laws!

If you meet him, Sasse is a most likeable guy. Has an awesome friendly relaxed attitude  that makes you feel happy.

Excellent recovery by Payne to chase down Ruhs just before, he is lightning quick that lad. Thought he had the legs to get through on Sail for sure.

for mine, the value that this kind of attitude brings to a squad is immense. His english maybe terrible but clearly the culture of the club has suited him and he brings and adds a lot to the culture!

We need to score another goal to take the pressure off ourselves.

CCM have upped the physicality, trying to throw us off our game! loads of tackles and contact coming after the ball has left the attackers foot. Contact is late but getting missed by the ref. Could get messy if we dont muscle up and take control.

Callan Elliot, just stop it lad. What a run. Left Ayongo in his wake. 😵

What a season he is having so far.

Sasse would probably be a good punt now to keep their back line busy, we don't have the defensive depth to just get deeper and deeper imo

Love the way this ref is letting the game flow. It's making for a fantastic physical contest.

it's very much something the women refs do, the womens game seems to let the physicality go, letting it backi into te mens game is great.

I think Elliott has now cemented that Right back position. The relationship between him, Kosta and Zawada has been a real highlight.

This ref has been the one thing I have wanted and looked for - CONSISTENCY to both teams. And yes, she has tried to let it flow as much as possible.

far too much is a little harsh, ref has let things go which is ok, it's still a contact sport. She's calling the clear fouls, anything where the stronger player has won she's played on, which is fine!

Maybe has a point with that flying tackle on Ball. More than a hint of foul in that one.
