Not sure how Kamsoba gets a yellow there, either the ref thinks he did nothing, or he saw him kick out off the ball and gets red. Theres no middle ground. 

I thought he let a couple to many go in the first 10 (see Grant on Sutton) and now its coming back to bite him

Really hope we go out in the second half  firing to get a second goal can’t sit back on a 1 goal lead against Sydney 

Sydneys ref is having a great game, he just needs his strikers to convert some of the good opportunities he is creating and they will come away with a big win. 

Phew, that was a frantic first half. Sydney look very strong and will heap the pressure on in the second 45. My only wish is that we don't sit back. Best way to defend is to attack. Let's gooo!

Deservedly ahead, fudge me, this ref is awful. How the hell did he get 5 from 1? I know he had to wait for var but had ample time to call it. Kamsoba should have been off. Good on rufer, that was some solid captaincy right there.

Jeez that was and thrilling end to the half. I love the fire in the boys for this one. Definitely feels like 11 v 12, but will take 1-0 lead.

They've had the better chances though and looked a bit more incisive up front. This lead gives us a good chance to set up on the counter (which we've done well on in the 1st). They're going to come out guns blazing, so we need to be on our game, take the tempo and pace out of the game that opening 10-15 minutes and then catch them when they start pouring forward in search of an equalizer. Hoops on after an hour or so to bring some more solid hold up play up front.

Sail my MOTM so far. Some clutch saves from some pretty clearcut Sydney chances, don't know if he got a hand to Burgess shot that came back off the post, but it wouldn't surprise me. When luck is on our side, we've got to take it and run with it as far as we can.

Great game. Goal mouth action aplenty at both ends. Ref is pretty random though, bit of a worry. 

I noticed that they've done their homework on Sandoval.  Had few chances, and lost more than a couple of challenges by their left CB or left fullback.  He is playing well, but clearly needs to create more room for himself despite their close pressing to be effective in the second half. Fitness will be a big factor especially for Ball who was tireless.

 No huge issues with the ref. Yes he could have sent off Elvis to the sheds with a red, but it was not a mandatory red. Another ref might have done it.

Second half underway with more of the same so far. When we try and break they do enough to slow us down to allow their numbers to return, Worked for them in the first half just a well.

Another good game from Rufer again so far. I've counted three smart interceptions he's made to break up play.
