Someone said in another post that families in Wellington are struggling and have to pick and choose which matches they go to.  I've purchased 2 x family passes in silver section to give to people who need them.  If you or someone you know loves the Nix but can't justify the expense I'd be happy to give these to you/them.

Two sets made up of 2 x adults and 2 x children

Send me a message.

Hey mate just want to say what a really fantastic gesture this is! We might not always win on the field but can't argue that we don't have a winning fanbase. Hope someone is able to take you up on this offer.

Thanks team.

I thought it was you Ballane that mentioned that but I wasn't 100% sure and couldn't even recall what thread it was in.

I'll try the facebook pages if no one messages me in the next few days.

Hope im not speaking out of turn Matt.
Matt has a young family he is heavily involved in parenting. That Ronald McDonald stuff took a heap of organizing which Matt did mostly on his own.
Like a number of the other senior figures in YF Matt has taken a step back in the hope that some others might step forward.
The work they did over the years was outstanding and i think people are only  figuring out know that YF didnt just happen but was developed by the work of a very dedicated few.

I’m sorry that I’m overseas, but I wonder if there’s anyone who might want to pick up something like the Ronald McDonald house or StarJam etc etc and keep it?

I did one game in Hamilton years back where I think we took some donations and we took some season tickets for people who weren’t coming north and gave them to StarJam I think. Maybe some went to Ronald McDonald house too.

Certainly seems like a worthwhile programme, especially if we’re going to score a few goals and play some football!

If someone wanted to take over some kind of ticket donation project, it doesn’t have to be Ronald McDonald house, it could be something else. But certainly there’s been angst about the cost of living and it sounds like a good thing to do to me. But again probably a lot of work, for its own reward.

But also, why did we get Kartum then?

Probably because Singh wasnt available then. Dont see it as in issue in fact looking forward to seeing them both on at the same time. Hopefully some fun times ahead.

I think Kartum may be more of a forward than Singh?

Kartum and Singh behind Eze with Najjarine, Mileusnic and Piper backing them up is real depth in our front 3, all able to affect a game whether starting or subbing in.

Such a stark difference to Walker and LBS last year, no offence to the lads.

Definitely, hopefully not too little too late, though.

I don't think Singh really fixes our main issues - which is solidity in the middle and at the back - but it's still exciting

Anything that gets Najjirine out of the team is ok with me

Shame for Walker. This season basically a write off. There were plenty of games this season I feel his different approach and directness would have been useful off the bench.
