nah, I reckon a lopsided 4231 or 343. If Sheridan is lb he won't be that attacking whereas Payne at rb can bomb forward with Singh or Sander cutting in, Armiento a proper winger. A 343 would be basically a straight swap Sheridan for James, Sander and Singh the two 10s in possession.
There is no way we will see Sheridan at CB so it would be Payne, I think. Sheridan is hopeless on the left but is a serviceable at RWB. With Payne, Hughes and Tuiloma as 3 CBs there is less worry of Armiento and Sheridan having to track back as much as if we played 2 CBs. Good to see Rufer back to enforce some order in the middle.

How rubbish we look his purely down to squad selection and the tactics. It's a complete failure. It's upsetting the club will get better players but ignore the main problem.

Sheridan lacking James’ range of passing to get out. They’re getting joy out of pressing him.
Sorry but James passing out of defence has been woeful recently. Can see the reason for the change but I think our problems run a lot deeper than just swapping James for Sheridan.
