Fresh legs and a bit of pace

Good. Lucky that header went wide.
Can we hold our shape?

Pennington has upped their ball speed and improved their passing.

When we move the ball with a bit of intent we look proper dangerous

Well, was nowhere near the ball and dangerous. Another warning after 60 minutes?

So Sutton gets a yellow card, but Gomulka doesn't?

Always surprised Williams doesn't start for this team - when I watch Perth he is one of their best, but always off the bench

Ref is a prick.

Twice. And a couple of other blokes.

Al-Taay needs to calm down a bit. Let Rufs do the talking.

Ref is useless. Nothing is yellow, then everything is yellow.

 Again #A-League.
Cards are only issued after the 60th minute - then every foul is a yellow. I genuinely think this is what they are told to do.

God I hope Alex spends the rest of his career with Welly - he is nearly getting to the 'too good' for the A-league level

Outstanding result away from home, team still gelling and far from our best.

New team together and undefeated, I will take that!!!

Well that was worth staying up for - very entertaining and professional performance.

See you all next week!

Great response from a disappointing opening round result, we are up and running! Hope Talay and Sydney will bring AFC back down to earth this afternoon.

Clinical.

Didn’t see much from Colakovski in that game?

Who’s Perth’s coach? Surely there’s a better team in there with Williams, Sail, Pennington and Taggart than what we’re seeing in these first two games.

Brilliant result, clean sheet and 3 points away at Perth this early in the season?! How good. Oluwayemi looking assured, more some nice flashes of quality from the Japanese lads too.

In awe of Rufer today though, my god he's turned into a fudgeing phenomenal holding midfielder. So classy on the ball

Joshy looked good today, answering a few questions. Doesn’t get on the ball with his feet as much as Alex did, but did what was required.

News on Rufer? Surely he’s just tired?

Bit rough he wasnt on for that long and Chief has said he is still working to get fully match fit.

Still disappointed about last weekends draw but if you offered me 4 points from the first two I definitely would have taken it.
