You know it's bad when fans of opposition clubs don't want to watch games which involve us.

That said McBreen is another special guy. Called the red on David Ball a ‘gentle’ red, Kaltak studs into his shin, and that he hated to see it. When they were just kicking crap out of us McBreen’s ‘analysis’ was that nothing was a foul, certainly not a card and that we were kicking ourselves. He’s very much a Matt Simon type of guy.
I care more what a variety of Nix fans think, ahead of Australia’s biggest meat axes and hatchet men. Sterjovski complained we were playing anti-football when his team couldn’t break us down and then had Brattan kick everyone in response to the new ‘groovy’ relaxed contact and foul reffing.
On a vaguely related point the federal opposition have promised MacArthur 7.5 million AUD for a training facility. They must be connected af! Well apart from with their fans…

Pork barrelling is an Australian pre election tradition.
For anyone like me who hadn't prior heard of the term -https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pork_barrel

Oh sure, but for it to go to a soccer-football team with 3k fans means the owners are able to get things done in Liberal circles! For those first two things to be the case and get an announcement from Peter Dutton…
I listen to "A-League off air" podcast with Daniel mcbreen & Robbie Thomson. They have utter contempt for the way Chief sets us up to play and how utterly dreadful games featuring us are to watch. We are legitimately damaging this league with how we play, it isn't even just affecting ourselves. Casuals tuning in to watch us might never ever watch the league again
I mean it's tough to disagree with both of them. Even Ricki Herbert's football - direct, long ball, uninspiring, but at least interesting at times - was a better watch.
The "casuals" I stayed with in Wellington after driving down from Auckland for the first derby were so embarrassed by "their" team's lack of " go forward" they've never bothered to watch another AL match on TV since.

Can always check youtube highlights, at least it's an easy 3 points. All you gotta do against us is mildly press, wait for errors and pounce.
