It is still a few weeks away but I wanted to point out that on Dec 20th, you would have been emailed a code to redeem your Season Pass for the match. Look for an email saying "Eden Park Confirmed".
Just a heads up if you're interested. I emailed the phoenix about it asking how many they would need to sell to open up more stands and they said the following:
"Ideally we would want to get to close to selling out one of the price levels before opening up more! 😊 We don’t have a solid number as it depends on balance between the price categories – gold/silver/yellow fever, etc."
So obviously no definite answer. I still have my fingers crossed
Please redeem them ASAP 🙏 I am hoping Eden park will open their southern stand for ticket sales. I wanna be nice and close to the game 👀
Tell me about it. Not a fan of the ASB stand.

Dome said today that Gold section is almost sold out. Expect the other side to be on sale in the coming week.
Yep, I'd guess approx 50 tickets left in the gold section. I did a rough tally and I think somewhere between 4k & 5k tickets sold so far. I think that is fairly exciting considering this is still 2 1/2 weeks out with minimal advertising so far.
If we get a win this weekend and get some advertising out there I'd say we can easily get 15k + tickets sold. If the weather gods smile on the day maybe 20k is possible. Whatever the case, we're definitely selling more than the last eden park match which was barely 10k.
Fingers crossed lads, surely they open more bays this weekend.
Yup, I remember on match day last year (10k), you could still purchase gold tickets in the grandstand. 20k is likely and will help the club massively.
I also think the remaining games at sky stadium will all get crowds near or over 10k. Match vs Adelaide on Sunday will likely get 9-10k.. PAX is already same as Western game day but we’re 3 days out. Vs Brisbane on Easter Sunday (1pm KO) likely to get close to 10k even tho the long weekend Vs Victory, Friday 12 April 7pm. That’s when school holidays start. Plus will likely be hyped due to the last game and both teams ladder position. Could get 10-15k there. Vs MacArthur Sat 27 April. Dear I say if we have the chance to lift the plate then, or even finish top 2, could see 10-15k again. Just keep momentum going.
Managed to convince the wife and kids to come with me to Auckland for game. That's plus 4 for the PAX. Honestly, $80 all up for the four tickets is a bargain.
is there a pax # for Ticketmaster purchase ticketsNommag

Got my free ticket on Ticketmaster last night. The website makes Ticketek look good!
I've just tried to claim three tickets that are under my membership account. Ticketmaster seems to only let me book one at a time using the separate comp codes for each ticket. But because I tried to book three together, which have tickets sold either side, it won't let me book the second one as that would leave a single seat (which I also want to book). And they don't allow you to leave a single seat ..... So I've booked one seat and their system won't let me book the two seats next to it using my comp codes.
So now waiting for their reply to my query to sort that out. 9am-5pm hours only. No phone contact that I could see.
Just a warning so others don't get caught with the same problem.

Only a long number below the QR code - but the order number is 10998 if that helps.
Just got my ticket, can't find anything resembling a pax sadly. Watching the way Bling pressed mercilessly against WSW, it could be a very interesting game!
At this point, not really sure why more seats haven't been released. Gold is fully sold out now with the adjacent silver bays having only approx 50 tickets left. One step further out and the yellow fever and silver bays are well over 50% sold. Rough estimate, I reckon 7k tickets sold so far.
Surely at this point you're just missing out on potential sales when people look at the seats available and think "man I'd love to go but I don't want to be sat down the far end of the field in a stand miles away from the action". Come on Nix please open up some more seats - starting to get worried over here
For those interested, two bays have opened up for tickets on the southern side (the good side). I'd jump in fast if you're thinking of getting tickets since it looks like they're selling fairly quickly. They're two of the most central bays so well done the Nix, lets go. Last time at Eden Park we didn't sell any seats on the southern side of the ground but this time around we're already starting a week and a half early!! I thought I was tongue in cheek earlier saying there is potential for 20k but now it really feels like it will happen. Hell, if the Phoenix put on a favourable performance over in Melbourne this week I'd say 25k is a possibility... Lets gooooo, this game is going to be awesome!
Interesting that Auckland are now reviewing their decision to be at Mt Smart. Not sure if that means not just training there, or also not playing there. I'm sure they will take a strong interest in the EP crowd size and game day atmosphere, fan experience etc.
Sounds like Albany is going to be their training in the interim. Minor thing maybe but Eden Park is closer to Albany than Mt Smart. Maybe they could look to split games between EP & NHS. Seems they maybe a little pissed off with the Mt Smart situation.
On Thursday March 14, they’ll also reveal their club colours and branding.
The announcement comes as the Herald understands the club are facing challenges finding a training base in Auckland due to scheduling conflicts with the New Zealand Warriors at Go Media Mt Smart Stadium, meaning owner Bill Foley’s team is exploring alternative stadium options.
When the side launched in November, the plan was for the team to spend their first seasons at Mt Smart before moving to a new 20,000-seat stadium - with financial assistance from American Billionaire Foley - on Auckland’s waterfront. In the interim, they have had to settle on training at North Harbour Stadium in Albany due to the unavailability of training pitches at Mt Smart, currently occupied by the Warriors.
Mt Smart Stadium has been the Warriors’ home ground since their inception, known as Ericsson Stadium from 1995-2006. The side’s only long-term absence from Penrose came during Covid-19 lockdowns in 2020 and 2021, when they played in Australia.
While the Warriors have welcomed the new A-League team, the Herald understands it’s been challenging to reach an outcome that accommodates both professional clubs, with most of the facilities already booked by the Warriors for the year.

It's a lot of words to say things that have already been reported – they're training at North Harbour Stadium and playing at Mt Smart Stadium.
Maybe Bill Foley will have to lean on Wayne Brown not to dismantle NHS, but if he's calling the team the (Black) Knights and playing out of NHS, he's really dancing in a rainstorm wearing a copper helmet and yelling ALL GODS ARE BASTARDS
Fever Zone sold out in Auckland on Saturday. Seven bays all sold out (or just wheelchair accessible remaining). One bay with 20-ish tickets remaining and another with 50-ish.
I haven't been sent my Membership tickets yet. I've been in email contact with Stephanie but no dice yet.
Suppose it'll be all right if I don't see this, not much hope for a result
Melb City bought on Maclaren, Nabbout & Antonis. In response the Nix's sole attacking sub was a 16 yr old kid on debut. Yet the last 20 mins the Nix had more goal chances than MC in the 37 degree heat. Barba should have equalised. I don't get the negativity at all on a game that on balance, should have been a draw.
Hopefully the Nix spend at least some dollars marketing the game this week. Auckland FC's big announcements on Thursday should help with some football media attention in the city. Plus the Black Caps season will be over, and the Blues (Sydney) & Warriors (Melbourne) are both out of town.
Forward balls to Zawada would be a handy option over Sydney's press. Fingers crossed on him!
Next, the Phoenix have to face the hottest side in A-League Men, one that has not lost for eight matches and only once in their last 12, and salvaged a 1-1 draw on Sunday, despite being reduced to 10 men early at home against Brisbane Roar.
With help from assistant coach David Zdrillic, who has been schooled in the Red Bull football groups’ high-pressing ideology, Talay has perennial contenders Sydney looking threatening again, even if they were nine points behind the Phoenix (but with a game in hand) in fifth at the end of round 20.
Sydney’s visit to Auckland is likely to provide the sternest of tests for a Phoenix side who have struggled to create chances across most of their last 270 minutes of football, with the last half-hour of last Sunday’s win over Adelaide United the notable exception.
Italiano said he was hoping forwards Oskar Zawada and Oskar van Hattum would be available next weekend after missing Saturday’s match.
Result over the weekend would not have helped ticket sales much. But hopefully with some Auckland media coverage this week, it will get numbers up.
I've had my eye on it throughout and yep since Saturday morning sales have slowed down big time. I suspect people wanted to see how they'd do on Saturday before buying tickets.
With a bit of FOMO from good media attention this week id say we should still hit past 20k. Im hoping with Auckland FC making a big announcement Thursday we'll see big sales - I'm sure Auckland FC will make lots of noise and it is an easy segway for the media to talk about us.

The reasons for my negativity. All really based on the first half. Earlier in the season, even if we were somewhat backs to the wall, opponents found it very difficult to make dangerous crosses. In this match, just in the first half and in open play, I think they made 10 or more (no stats on it). Our passing rate was 80% (first half) that's around 7% below what it was Earlier in the season. Duels: I'm not seeing the huge number of Duels won that gave us such an advantage previously (but no stats, so tell me I'm wrong). And Melbourne City, they're not particularly good. They're going to struggle to make the playoffs.
In my view, if we perform like this against Sydney, CCM, MV and Macarthur, we'll be in trouble. I don't expect that we will. We have the best team in the league and I'm sure Chiefy will sort it out.
Only saw about 10 mins of the first half, but from that I thought Salas wasn't quite on page with the game plan. Too may low percentage passes into the box, not sure that will have pleased Chiefy. But of course the Costa Rican is still very new and has the language barrier. But wouldn't surprise to see him benched this weekend.
Edit - Really you could agrue, home or away, the back 3/5 with Hughes starting has been working better than the back 4 and extra midfielder. You want more attacking options off the bench than just a 16 year old (very talented yes) kid.
And yeah sounds like some the stats where the Nix had previously excelled in, were down in the Melb City game.
I was also surprised we didn't start with the back five with Hughes. Felt a little bit to me like Chiefy was trying to make a statement, ie, that the Nix are the top team and it's time to take on the mantle of champions and beat teams on their own terms.
Of course it was probably nothing of the sort and purely a tactical decision, but it's maybe a reminder that along with all the other factors involved in winning the league there is a psychological element of putting up a bold front and declaring that, despite the heat and all your all good players and your home ground advantage, we have a good team with good tactics and we are here to beat you.
If I look at the other top six teams with the finish line approaching I see CCM and Sydney have really hit their stride. Feels like the Nix are hanging in mid air at the moment: either we'll fade slightly with so many tough games to go, or we'll ramp up and hit our peak towards the back end. The game against Sydney will probably tell us which it's going to be.

a) "our only attacking sub was a 16yr old kid on debut" - yes. That's precisely the problem, precisely why we're negative. We've been on a glorious run form-wise and luck-wise but's the injuries and attrition at the end of the season which always gets us.
b) the last game against the Smurfs showed that Talay's got our/Chiefy's number tactically.
So best not to expect too much from the last few games, but we'll see how we do in the playoffs, still might get a home semi. But the good news is that Stephanie came through and the Littlest Hooligan and I will be there (although I think cricket is her game now lol)

Ye of little faith Doloras. Chiefy has proved the doubters wrong at almost every turn this season. He has taken a team most expected to finish dead last and made us toilet seat contenders. There have been setbacks throughout the season but we have almost always bounced back quickly.
Sport is a funny thing and not even the best tipsters can predict results going forward in most leagues, let alone this one. Literally anything can go wrong for any team, we could get injuries or red cards and so too could CCM.
There was a statistical analysis done recently I believe in another thread which showed there is like a 2% chance that anyone else other than us or CCM can win the league - I'd say that tells you how exactly how in this race we are. There is a very good chance we'll be top 2 and still a good chance of us winning. Anything can happen.
Agree. And Doloras try to dissuade the littlest hooligan off cricket. Love the sport myself, but supporting Black Caps (even worst the White Ferns) you are setting her up for a lifetime of disappointment! At least with football the emotional rollercoaster is over in 90 mins.
