Hemed probably shouldn't have been on the field, came on for Baccus who got a yellow for a very orange tackle on ball, and got away with no card for dragging down Pennington on the counter. As you say, swings and roundabouts

Would be perfectly fine with a league without Rudan in it. Oli Sail likes him, and he did a good enough job with us. But I just find him a deeply unpleasant character.
He’s not a thug in the way Tiatto or Muscat were, but he’s slimy.

Thanks for the entertaining comments on here. Made for a good read. I don't know why they water pitches prior to kick off, especially if it has been raining for a few days. Stupidity at best. If the pitch is dry, leave it like that and don't turn it into a slip and slide.

So we have the official attendance of 15k but I tend to believe the crowd and if they say, near 10k, I'd believe it. Not the first time an "actual" attendance has been bumped up unless of course they are going on ticket sales and some have just not turned up.

That we are winning ugly is still better than not winning. I'm sure the players would like to put on a decent showing but right now they are scrapping. At least they are trying to make a fist of it and not capitulating like the Warriors.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Pretty sure those on here saying crowd only about 10k, were doing it from their UK or Welly living rooms.

And yes table wise the Nix have done a lot better than the Breakers. It’s too early to write off Warriors just yet. But has obviously sucked for all 3 clubs being based in Aussie last 2.5 odd seasons

Unless they've fudged all the numbers for the last 5 Eden Park Nix games, then 14-15k seems about right

A lot of people here really don't want Auckland games to get a good croud.
