Can see this game turn ugly. Loads of Nix players cutting an increasingly frustrated figure. They are getting bossed, while not creating anything themselves.
As a central midfielder, Rufer is walking 95% of the time, as a captain, he always point and ask the team to make backward passes...(because he's not running into positions to receive the ball)
which is why he shouldnt be on the field, he can be the cub capt all e wants but he is terrible for go forward football.

Poco
Well here's the thing, The Jets are not the side they were from last season and everyone on he should know that or get there head of there a$$. Jets are playing well with great passing why'll we are just playing catchup.
Have you watched the Jets this season, out of interest? We've made them look a lot better.
I haven't seen us get this bossed for a long time.

yeah they've conceded 2 goals in all of their first 3 games and won none. We have played them into form.
Wierd seeing us get pumped like this, don't think its ever happened during Uffie's time in charge. We're defending as a group, nice and narrow, and while we're not creating much the Jets shouldn't be able to consistently find space through two blocks of four that are basically 10m apart. Hard to put this humbling down to any individuals, everything that could go right for the Jets has gone very very right for them today, some nice goals.
Can Harper f- off on Paramount? Phoenix ownership have supported two seasons with almost no home games. Carrying about how much the Jets have invested to get all 3 of their fans there.
Not to out myself as a fair-weather fan but I only got into football about 3 or 4 years ago which has coincidentally coincided with the Phoenix having quite a decent run of it, but was this what the Kalezic years were like? Because fudge me that was pretty dry.

All credit to Arthur Pappas for getting a decent bunch of imports and for retaining some of the old guard. We got outplayed by a better side tonight. Happens. Last week I was in a murderous mood after losing to the undeserving WSW ("Hand of God", sorry, "hand of Jehova", anyone?) but tonight despite the hurt of losing there was clearly nothing we could do against well performing Jets. We were quite static in defence and slow on transition. But that should not take anything away from the Jets who played some nice creative energetic football tonight. And where was C-Diddy when we needed him most to cast a preventive spell ("I hate the Jests") before the game?
Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days
