Well we had two or three really good opportunities and couldn’t make our tap in. Think we’re playing okay, but would really like to see us lift.

And I reckon that bit of emotion from Pennington was why Uffie didn’t trust him more. After Burgess niggled him and got him sent imo. He stopped getting so many minutes after that. 

Gotta win on a cold blustery evening in Ballarat if you want to be table toppers.

If everyone had as much passion for other players in the team as Kungfu Panda does we'd be better off. I find his passion endearing and its sad that you think it is negative in some way. At the end of the day we are all passionate nix supporters

We're playing like we don't give a sh.. about taking 1st place. What an utter load of garbage from everyone so far. 

Our backline only looks sideways and our midfield makes no effort whatsoever to make runs into pockets to receive the ball and bypass that press. WU have nothing to offer otherwise.

Very much this. There are definitely more annoying things, like royz used to do.

Other than our defensive shape, this game has lacked quality. 
For us, we look lost when moving the ball forward, I hope we are targeting a creative midfield in the jan window as I don’t see anyone in the squad playing that role. 
For them. They’ve pressed well but don’t have much else to offer. 
I think a late zawada header will be settling this one.

Agree with how you're seeing the game. But Kraev and Ball usually give us more in the middle and w/o Zawada they're both playing up front. Will be interesting if Chief has a plan to unlock this one but I'd think a few fresh legs running at them and some more pace in transition might do it. Old and Zawada.

If we were at home I reckon we’d be up 2 zip now. Kraev has had 2 and a half chances to fashion something. Kosta didn’t get that last header on target. The long balls have been okay, but we’ve made nothing from them. Kelly-Heald and Payne have had chances to create something, but haven’t either made the runs or the crosses. 

Hopefully we get going second half!
