Poor Piscopo! How many games has he missed because of injuries, sickness?

Also, I know everyone might be a bit seedy/weary/knackered from festivities over the past few days, but there is a distinct lack of firing the fark up going on in this damn thread! 🔥🦅

Come on boys, reckon it'll be an open one. Time to start ticking up some points before we find ourselves needing too much to do down the track.

Also, what's it going to take to get Pennington a start?

Certainly not even an intra-squad covid outbreak it would seem.

Boss reckons he’s not ready for 90 minutes.

Good silver lining is its looking like I'll be heading to bed at half time and so won't be as tired tomorrow.

A traditional day at the races, and we're still stuck in the starting block....

FFS McGarry has played himself into trouble many times.

Payne and Paulsen head and shoulders above everyone else atm. Aussie commentary right in saying that Payne is the only one showing any leadership.

His heart and drive are in the right place but boy oh boy is he losing the plot out there anytime he's involved on or off the ball.

Something seems really off with the boys, tonight, and not just the usual less than smooth or ideal performance wise stuff but they all seems really hostile and short with each other. The body language looks really off.

Making Rufer captain has to go down as Ufuk's worse coaching decision for us. You'd think Payne would have been a better choice.

Ben Waine: Well if we can't have our first choice goalkeeper then neither can you, Adelaide!

I've noticed it too. I heard somthing the other day that the mood in camp is very bad right now and there's a lot of hostility. I'm think they may have been truth to that rumor now.

Payne the drink driver on a golf cart during lock down. Needs to be a leader on and off the pitch.

This reserve Adelaide keeper looks like he could be Sail's younger brother...

The penalty drama between Piscopo and Waine a few weeks back was probably an indicator that things aren't all perfect.

jesus! 4 times now McGarry's tried his fancy spin on the ball and fudgeed it up leading to Adelaide getting the ball and a chance!

I hope to be wrong but this team is starting to feel reminiscent of the Darije season

Rufer off for Pennington at half time? I wouldn't mind seeing Fenton and Sutton too.

Just glad the Adelaide finishing is poor otherwise this could have blown out. Still in it at one down…..

If this is what an average Adelaide side missing 4 first team players are doing to us, i would hate to think what Victory or City will do to us..

We are probably away from home for too long, with lockdowns and disrupted games it's hard to stay motivated.  We just look tired and disinterested.

Terrible first half. we look like a team thrown together playing for the first time.
Not getting anything out of our full backs. DM's going missing. No cohesion in the front third.
This whole covid / playing in Aus / losing the spine of our team from last year / not being able to bring in imports.
We just aren't good enough at the moment.
Can they change it around at half time ? I doubt it from what I'm seeing.
But some one tell them its still 11 v 11. For ever hopeful we can get our shark together. we are only 1-0 down.

16 shots to our 1, bloody lucky that we are only one down, where is the leadership on the pitch???
Like to keep control of the bloody ball and remember to pass it to a player in blue not red.

can only hope that Uffie can turn the lads around. McGarry has to be off, get Fenton on for him. Pennington for Rufer might help too.

Has to be. McGarry has been so bad, it's painful to watch.

Well at least Rufer is off, Sotirio too.
How the fudge Rufer can justify being capt is beyond me.
