they've had the away fans section pretty well secured since "that event", I imagine with the supposed 300+ Vic fans coming over they'll have jultiple security guards and gates to keep the errant youths at bay.

couldn't remember if it was there or 34.
The remainder of the stadium is now on sale.
Aisle 2 released as another bronze section and Aisle 3 and 4 released as sliver.
About 6000 tickets left!
Is it too late to add some extra seating at ground level, expand capacity.
grounds has been looking ok this season, not a lot of heavy rain pre games so not badly cut up, should be ok.

Would 100% of temp seating profits also go to APL?

25k!! Oh come on, we are going to sell this out!
Been some great coverage in The Post the last two weeks. Front page again today highlighting we could sell it out, it all helps…

CCM’s capacity is 20k so while nearly sold out, fewer than 20k.
On the football - Victory must be wondering what in the blazes they must do to score against us. TAB has them to edge us in progressing (1.95 v 1.75); clearly not their first rodeo but a defence like they’re up against must smother your will. It’s like the Mitch McConnell of football - all your endeavour and optimism withers before it.
Watching the Nix is a very different feeling this year.
Procrastinixing I had a quick look as aus ticketek last night and there seemed to be less than 1000 spare.

Looks like aisle 35 has been allocated for them?
Thats their usual space isnt it?

It's gonna sell out before game day. Be great to see if Dome can claw back some of those hold tickets

Probably unfortunately, I'd assume it takes a bit of time to get that all sorted and with the Canes playing at home on Friday it would cut the timeframe down even further.
That might really cut up the field, how's it held up this season so far?
So, how about that game that happening on Saturday. Do you think we'll win.

I'd have the Nix as favourites with the home advantage. It's cliched but the small margins will likely decide. A moment of quality, or a bad mistake. The VUC are an older, experienced team so the occassion won't faze many of them.
Wouldn't surprise to see it go to pens.

I think it will unfortunately go to penalties to add to the stress.
Subs on, will mean Zawada, Rufer, Kosta, Old and Salas, will knock them in.
Alex to make a great save and we nick it.Gooner 4 Life

I think we'll be too good for them. I don't think they have a goal in them, bar maybe a piece of Fallandrolli magic and I reckon we have the quality to get one, then maybe more as Victory press forward.
An honestly bizarre feeling to have.

Also I’m too nervous to even think about how this game will go. I think we are a better team than Victory, but I’m worried about the occasion being too much for us
Can we stop talking about PAX and focus on the game, now? Must win game for the Nix. Predicting a 3-0 win to the boys at the Ring of Fire. Kosta to score a brace and Old to surprise with a shot from close range. You heard it first here on Nga Wana Kowhai. Looking to book my ticket from Brisbane to Sydney/Gosford for the final against CCM.
Can we do both? It’s a bit traditional. And the prospect of 30 thousand fans in Chiefy’s yellow army is an exciting one! I mean the atmosphere for the AWs v Bahrain was out of this world. This will be the same.
I sadly I have to miss it. Had an expensive, but brilliant plan to fly in, but I’m not allowed to, so it will, with any luck, be shirts off in the living room, followed by some celebration tbc. Had a plan to put some money on the bar at our local sports bar if we topped the league, which also had to be placed on hold, but by no means cancelled so…
COME ON PHOENIX! Firing up already.
Please put a few photos on the forum Saturday! Enjoy the party and let the boys know what they mean to all of us…

We get Daniel Elder for this match, thankfully avoiding Faghani who gets CCMvSYD.
We have had Elder 3 times this season, 1-1 vs Victory, 0-0 @ Perth and 1-0 vs Victory.
We have had Elder 3 times this season, 1-1 vs Victory, 0-0 @ Perth and 1-0 vs Victory.
Pre-match prediction:
We get the win 1-0 in the 30min extra time. I can't confidently say we'll win by any more since our previous 4 matches have just been so highly contested, not to mention we won the 3rd match in the final minutes. I do however feel like a win is relatively likey, he have beat them already this season and haven't lost. On top of that this is gonna be our biggest homecrowd in 14 years, potentially ever, so many people cheering on the boys I think will push them to a win.
Edit: The only thing that worries me is the fact that it almost feels like the perfect moment to let us all down. Massive turnout, hundred of local games being rescheduled, the potential to finally go to a GF. It just feels like the perfect moment to ruin it all.

It's feeling like the Bahrain game all over again. I remember feeling emotionally exhausted at the end of it. Hopefully has the same outcome.
Have people mentioning our great record against them this season forgotten the first home game? They were all over us for huge chunks of that match, including before the red card. It was a well earned point for us because it was tough. I’m confident for Saturday, but it’s going to be tough again.
Gold ticket all gone, Dome said we will sellout tomorrow.
Holy fudge. Stadium is gonna be pumping.
Will they post the most popular chants in the Post for newbies to learn before the game? I feel like they did that in 2009/2010 knock out games.
Edit, to add that the Aleagues must be happy with the ticket sales for this game. How many have they sold for CCM v Sydney at Gosford?
