What a win. Great hard fought performance and great second half. Had be sitting in my living room with my shirt off when we scored. defence was rick solid. Pav was good when he came on but stupid with that tackle although I reckon it was a bit harsh giving it a red. He barely touched him.

but while his was clearly dumb, and deserved to be sent, there were other more senior players who did stupid stuff and were lucky not to be sent. Pav's lunge was stupid, but looked like a rush of blood. Brown should have been sent for his ridiculous block after being on a yellow for an earlier ridiculous foul. We really need to sort our discipline- it is awful.

Dear god what was Pav thinking. You could see him telling whoever it was taking that last throw to calm down, he gets in a bit of a scrum with3 Perth players and then gets the red mist. I hope there's some serious punishment being handed out in the dressing room. Scrappy win, probably deserved it apart from those scrambles at the end

Agree. At half time it was pretty obvious that if there was a goal it would come from a set piece.
Perth played some good football at times but never looked like scoring.

Both teams having too many turn overs and lots of hoof ball. Interestingly long ball (not hoof ball) was the better tactic for both teams.

A comment that was made on TV was something I've thinking about for the last week.We have got something like 8 or so players that are 30 or older.
I believe that you should have a few experienced players, but to have as many as we do will come back to haunt us. I reckon we need to get a few younger players for next season, otherwise with injuries likely to occur we could find ourselves in a bit of trouble.

Fairly poor game for the most part but wins are like women-good looking are better but ugly gets the job done 
What I don't get is the ovation given Pav when he was sent off. Anyone would think he'd just scored the winning goal , not got sent for doing something bloody stupid. Yes , I get the meaning of being a supporter through thick and thin and all that . But in a close game , to put your team a man down with a few minutes to go , is just f...ing stupid.And we clap him off?
I've never been a fan of Pav ; saw him on TUesday vs the U23's and thought he was very average. But today , I thought he did quite well until the brain fart. Stupid , idiotic thing to do.

At the 80 minute mark my wife turned to me and said...."I don't think I want to come to see the Nix anymore" Could you blame anyone who said that....wasting $30 and a nice sunny day. 85 minutes of dire football followed by 10 minutes of helter skelter. If that game had finished 0-0 it would be enough to drive a man to drink his own urine!!!!
Not worth even trying to analyse it. Meat head discipline by senior players who should know better and then Pav had a brain explosion
