I still remember the wisdom of Mr Kaupuki, my woodwork teacher at Intermediate. He advised us that when we were old enough to gamble, we should always bet against the All Blacks: if they win then you’ll be happy and won’t mind losing money, and if they lose at least you can afford to go drown your sorrows.

I’d buy that man a beer any day.

How crazy is it that we have taken the lead and it isn't against the run of play? We are doing so well today compared to pretty much every other game this season. Doesn't look like a top of the table vs bottom of the table clash at all, nor does it reflect WSW's recent form or ours
