From a Phoenix expert:

Why Yellow? Because some website called yellowfever says so? The Phoenix's / Wellington's colours are Black and Yellow. Our national colour is Black and Australia's is Yellow. Why wear Aussie's colours?? Surely we should be standing up to all the Aussie teams in the A League and showing the 1 NZ team is still fighting. Wear Black and make it a Blackout!

I know its being pushed as a yellow out but sorry I'm wearing black.  The original sponsor-less Phoenix home shirt.

So am I.  We said all along that 'Yellow out' does not override anything that has been a good luck charm to the home run.  For me that means Sonyless first season,

A mix of yellow and black in the crowd will probably look pretty good anyways tbh.  If only there was a way to get people to line up so the crowd is striped like the shirt
