Just pisses me off when people make wild speculations about staff and management and our briliiant owners.
Nothing Bev has ever done or said suggests she is going to cut and run at the first opportunity
As has been stated her wife is head of the academy and on an extended contract. Both seem  very happy where they currently are.
Emma and Jack and Bevs parent's joined us at the pre game pub and seem to enjoy the love being show  to Bev by the fans.
As previously stated Rob his brother and Henry joined the fans after the game. I know of a few people who had their drinks shouted by Rob when he was at the bar with them. Dont think there are many clubs whose owners and management would rub shoulders with fans after a loss. Just another example of them going above and beyond not that you would thlnk they do with some of the of the miserable
S H I T S that post stuff on here about them

I just looked up the attendance -  7,174 https://aleagues.com.au/match/a-league-women/melbourne-city-vs-wellington-phoenix-16-05-2026/, so only 1,251 more than we got for our semi final.  Wonder if they're a bit disappointed with that.  You'd have to think if the grand final had been in Wellington we would have got at least 10k.

On dubzone the basically called out City saying they need to get more people to games and that the 'Nix had more fans at a home final.

Also, the xg was 0.81 to 2.8 in Nix's favour.

XG higher for Nix cos we had the better of the chances, the game was done though when they had two of their three shots on goal go in over a 5 minute spell.

looking at the stats Nix should have won, but footy is funny like that, the team that should have won often doesnt.
