I've ordered Fifa 15 from EB thru Ea. I believe I get 20 free gold packs as I asked for the premium edition.
Nice. I'll probably trade in FIFA 14 for a discount. Not much point keeping the previous version if I'll never play it again. Last year I bought it on release day for PS3 then unexpectedly won a PS4 in December so ended up trading that in for the PS4 version. Would have held off until the PS4 version released if I'd known I was getting a PS4 but wasn't planning to upgrade for at least another couple of years!

Aargh I fucked up and got it sent to my parents house in Napier and not to me in Wellington. Got a friend who is going back for the weekend so they can bring it back with them but still means non fifa 15 til at least sunday. Rookie mistake.
Bugger! Just picked mine up (PS4) and traded in 14 at JB Hifi. Only $10 for the trade in when they're selling it pre-owned for $59. Daylight robbery but not going to play the old version again so what the hell. Cant be bothered with the hassle of trying to get $30 for it on Trademe.

The code needs to be redeemed through the xbox store or whatever it is called (I have a PS4 so don't know what it is exactly called).
Please note too, I downloaded FIFA 15 on my android Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 for free and its bloody great. although I want to see if i can play it without having to be online to the servers for updates. Come the Auckland game, tablet in hand and a night at Auckland Airport with Maccas open - life will be good.

Just played my first online seasons game. Up 5-0 after 26 minutes then they quit. I love fifa.

It only annoys me when it doesn't give me a win, or if they quit in like the 87th minute because I went up 5-0 even though it's been 4-0 for most of the second half
Oh dear, today I finally got to have a go at this version. in Ultimate game season mode I played my team of very average players - Mostly rated 50's to 60's and we won the A League after winning 4 games! We beat the Nix 9-0, I ran Siggy and Duro ragged and even dropped Siggy with a full on shot from 5 feet that nailed him in the jewels and down he went! In better news, I was 9-0 up over the roar at halftime and beat them 16-1. Some interesting game play and I feel it is a truer to real life experience. just on the ball control type stuff. Not so much robotic and impossible - more human.
I'll step up a couple of levels and unlock my bonus stuff tonight when I get home. Initial report is, a decent effort this time around but they really need to dump the windows 8 menues and go back to something easier and more straight forward.

I think it's L2 + right stick to the right then to the left. or it could be L1. not too sure actually. I only gifted it so I could get the trophy for gifting an item from the catalogue haha

Defending is non existant.
Some of the scores i've had online in the last few days: 11-3, 7-1 (after 45 mins then they quit), 6-7, 4-4. Not to mention a whole heap of 3-2's.
Basically all my games come down to a shootout between the strikers and who can finish better. I've only had one 0-0 out of over 40 games so far.
Definitely much harder to defend. A lot easier to score long rangers though.

2001 was the best ever for overhead kicks just about every cross would be an overhead. have not seen one yet on 15 but have not been playing very much at the moment.

I don't give a shit if you quit because i'm decimating you after 30 mins. Saves me time playing out the rest of the game when it's already over as a contest.

Have started my career with Man Utd, And bought Reid in to the team. Got my goalkeeper red carded in the 3rd minute and had no reserve Goalkeeper on the bench. So what did I do I bought Reid on and he saved the penalty and we won the game!!!!
