Hopefully a decent crowd to see us on Sunday might improve that. Come on Wellington Region, time to front up and show up to support the teams excellent season.
Domey says fudge metrics.
Solidly middle of the pack, you love to see it.
Ok. So, outside of clubs based in cities with populations of what, minimum 3 million, we're leading the pack here. Sure, we'd love to see a 10k regular season crowd at the Tin, but this ain't at all bad.

if I was the boss of Sydney FC I'd be concerned - dominating everyone in the league and yet you have the third highest attendance, even your cross town rivals are doing better and they are mid table. I wonder when the victory fanbase will give up on their team? (if at all?)
In our case aren't the numbers are influenced by the games played in Auckland?
Yeah. we drop to 7,888 if you exclude the Auckland games.
cummmmooonnnn CCM you can do it
Melboure City have benefited from 2 homes games vs Vicotry so expect them to drop a bit.

I think the Auckland games are equivalent to the melb and Sydney derbies
so the take away from that is that the numbers are terrible across the whole competition?

That's partially the impact of the derbies, WSW got 28k to their home Sydney derby while Sydney FC got 18k. If you exclude the derbies Sydney FC move up to second. The table below shows the impact of simply excluding derbies from the averages, I've only treated the Sydney and Melbourne derbies as derbies.
We are doing well, consider the size of market of the Wellington region, football is here 3 times more popular than in Melbourne.
Imagine we get a crowd of 20K for the finals, that would be almost 5% of the region packed into the sky stadium. I can't wait!

Most other teams are influenced by away fans though, not just derbies. CCM might not have derbies but they do have three other teams within driving distance and the Sydney to Melbourne air route is the busiest in the world.

I'm praying we do, will be my pass post kids arrival. Will certainly be convincing a lot of folk to go along
Without getting too carried away, I think the management and Dome have carried themselves in a remarkable way over the last week - also the last few years. we've had everything and the kitchen sink thrown at us in recent times, and generally speaking all have been handled superbly well. Our hands have been pretty much tied over this whole situation and there must have been some pretty tough conversations going on.
It ain't over yet and more is still to play out im sure, but credit where credits due. I think his communication has been spot on.
Totally agree. Welnix + Domey + a good coach (who ain't a psychopath) = great recipe for success

Actually it's the third busiest.

Actually, I doubt any of them are that busy.
