Top little bastards, aren't they?
We've just moved back to NZ with our 2 year miniature Dachshund, Mustard. Being a Dachshund, she is a stubborn little so and so, but she is great fun. We are in Auckland, so expecting it to be different for most people on here, but how do other dog owners get on with things like day care and dog sitters? In the UK we'd send her to day care once a week, where they would come and collect her in the morning, and drop her home again in the evening. We also had a fair few people who would take her for walks or look after her if we wanted to go out for an evening. It doesn't seem as common over here.
Also, are many bars and restaurants properly dog friendly? Most that we have been to are ok as long as the dog stays in the smoking area.
