That story about his pre-season boot camp made for interesting reading too. Any word if he tried something similar at WU or WSW?
Whatever you think of Rudan outside of football - and lets be honest the things that have been reported are horrid - sporting leagues/fans need villans. It's what makes derbies exciting, theres some fun in playing the nice guys, but its really special when you beat the teams/managers/players you most despise, especially those you have a valid reason to dislike. Rudan did some great things while he was at the nix and we'll remember him for it, but he left us in disarray whilst promising he wouldnt - so of course he's going to get treated to some abuse when he arrives. The fact he takes it on the chin and smiles through it all is great for the game,
