This Unite round is so Micky Mouse - surely it makes the A-League seem "amateur". I get that the league wants to create a weekend of football. However some of the games are being held at the same time?? All games should all be in one stadium, one game after another - if they have to have something like this. Home advantage - does that only apply to Sydney teams - I guess thats fair??
We have been figured out completely and every team knows it. I don't see how we win games now. We don't have the depth/players to do much different. I hope I'm wrong.

Its a poor attempt to copy what both the NRL and AFL do very well.

No, we’re just playing poorly.
We’ve gifted away a goal, we’ve got the Danaskos factor floating around in the background and we’re not totally at the races…
I've just watched 15 mins of the Phoenix passing it back and across and backwards again. Do we not have any idea of how to go forwards, snd, like, try and score?? Utter garbage.
Early days yet but yeah, hope we don't keep this nonsense up for too long because eventually we are just going to make another poor pass at the back and get undone again.
What’s this? It only takes a moment to score and a couple of moments to go from one end of a football ground to the other. Playing desperation football isn’t the way we’ve topped the table. If the team isn’t panicked it’s because they believe in themselves.
If we're not passing at a snails pace across the back, or going backwards and then left to right, when we do get into that final third it's just pass and stop stuff. Where's the movement?
A little better these past couple of minutes but Jesus can we create some tempo.

Timing of doom. Post a similar comment in the next 10 minutes and that should be enough for us to grab the lead!

Amazing what can happen when we look to be decisive in the final third.
Passing forward and into space for the man to run onto? whowuddathunkit?
Danaskos has allowed Perth to grapple our players receiving the ball 3 times and there rewards weakness with the Perth player going down anticipating contact.

Actually going forwards is not "desperation football". I for one will not watch negative backwards passing crap. I'd sooner watch paint dry.
You don't need to go forward all the time that's how you end up turning the ball over and having no control of the game. Perhaps football isn't for you

Have we not watched our team this year? We’re not Ange’s Tottenham. We build up slow and we took a while to react to the first goal and get back our composure on the ball.
We were pants for the first ten-fifteen, sure.
Edit: if we’d attacked without controlling possession and getting ourselves together maybe we go a couple more down.
