I've seen AFC fans complaining that the Fever are not talking about them enough or giving them enough respect.
I'd say, Phoenix supporters have other things on our mind right now and it's a bit presumptuous to expect respect straight away. When things get a bit more tangible in the pre-season I'd expect the rivalry to start building, but it has to be organic and not plastic.
Which is why the comment about Folley paying for a fan forum is also bad, the club and the fan group have to develop in isolation from each other, otherwise it's just too manufactured.
There's a lot of entitlement going on, Auckland FC fans are welcome to sit in their allocated seats and be quiet the entire game when it's their home game, Phoenix home game you play by the Fever's rules.

Respect is earned not given.
These dickish shenanigans from supposed owners will hardly result in the endearment they all crave.
The owners have said they know nothing about it - anything to the counter is just speculation, so in fairness to them, the only thing dickish in your post is your go at them based on nothing factual... and if it turns out to be true was it really that bad?
Are we going to be a forum that finds everything we do Derby related (like posting a new map of NZ etc) is hillarious and anything by them is in poor taste?
It's football people. Yes, love the game passionately but with a sense of joy otherwise it loses it meaning.
