Not that I am aware of (someone else might know), but in the early years of the Phoenix I recall taking our daughter along to the childrens' parade/march to the game, with an accompanying band!
We did this in Dunedin in March 2013 and it was not a novel concept at that time from memory (in fact the promo image used shows a band-led march across the WLG waterfront):
It's not funny how much we need to keep an eye on Davila tonight. Just coming back from suspension and will be keen to score, still has nearly 10 goals this season, and as we all know can create a chance out of nothing or score a long range effort.
He's the only Macarthur player I'm genuinely worried about.
As good as the crowd is going to be, it won't be the 21k required to break the season attendance record, which, given how good the Nix have been this season, I hope comes as a big disappointment to the club and a big wake up call.
Because the Nix will have lost money on their home games this season, and given TV money is plummeting this needs to be addressed. They need to start making some of that shortfall back with ticket sales.
Take a risk and go kids free all next season? It produced big crowds for today and for Waitangi Day.

Too much doom and gloom man. We might break 20k tonight, who knows. Enjoy the moment.

That’s a big call with PAX at almost 13K and 2 and a half hours before kick off…
I'm still very positive about tonight. A great day for the club and I've got a good feeling about the Jets coming through for us.
Just hoping we don't get more of the Domey whining about bad crowds and nothing else marketing strategy of this year, next season.
The problem with kids go free is that it means maybe 1 in 3 tickets will be paid for (1 adult 2 kids). How does the club make any money from that? They get zero from food sales. The extra tickets sold just adds cost for the club as they have to open extra bays for the extra fans. Kids go free is great for atmosphere and amazing for numbers but it does absolutely nothing positive for the club's bottom line. A season of kids go free would increase numbers, but the only positive would be long term in that it might create additional memberships when the kids get older.
Anyway, 2 hours till kick off, lets rock this place!!!!!
yeah, hence why I said it'd be a risk. Though I think it might be one worth taking. I also don't think the crowd is 2/3rds children when it is kids go free, not even close. theprof

Kids go free would be neutral at worst - kids tickets that would have been paid for will be offset by more adults going. But that’s when it’s a novelty. All the time and I suspect it would reduce revenue unless there was a real buzz about it. We won’t have lost money this season on gate takings. I gather 5k is break even. Edit: stand corrected. 8-9k is break even. And we were averaging 7k in Feb. Been good since though so suspect break even is possible.
Want a couple of early goals to allay the nerves, no drama, no excitement, no stress at all this game and keeping a close eye on the CCM game every min

Ha! You can almost guarantee it will be the complete opposite of this. Still, I'm really looking forward to this and hoping the big crowd are rewarded with a win, whatever happens in the other game.
Both TVNZ and Newshub had live reporters beaming in from the SKY stadium in their 6pm news. TV One interviewed David Dome and Newshub had an Italiano interview.
