I see a vuck fan on Twitter reckons they’ll be taking over at least 300. That would be epic! Will be a proper atmosphere 🕺🏻😎

Had a look earlier, it is au$949 (plus booking fees) to fly in on the morning and fly back the next day with Qantas, so that is massive if they get that many!
Strange, so the sale fares to AU don't apply for Australians coming over here?

This is a bit random but is any one planning on heading to the game from Days Bay? East by West Ferries are taking expressions of interest for a ferry from Queens Wharf to Days Bay post game.

Details on their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/eastbywestferries/

The disrespect A-Liga Mfers show us, they can't even be arsed putting our banner up, instead we just get the generic one.

What did you expect? Aussie only likes Aussie winners. We are a bunch of 501's and losers. That's what they'd have you think.

13k is solid this far out. A good result in the first leg, aided by a bit of media attention should hopefully push it higher.

And if CCM lose and people realise we could host the final if we win... sell out material!

Yeah, I think the post was reporting the amount of tickets sold on general sale, not the overall amount of tickets

Looking at the interactive map of aisles 8-16, we have defenitely sold more than the MacArthur game. Surely it’s above 15k.

Average ticket price say $40. 30,000 tix and APL making $1.2million plus. They really should give us some of that money. Sydney fc struggling to break 20k for their semi, victory struggling to break 15k and mariners won’t get above 20k capacity..
We are by far and away giving apl the most money. They will probably be hoping we get through because they will make the most money easily if we host.

Yeah its a real shame that the clubs get diddly from getting into the final series. It just makes zero sense especially when there is no prize money for winning the league.

Considering the League is bleeding money - APL needs big ticket sales from all finals it seems to limp through

APL is beleding money just like the clubs are...... APL gets a chunk of the TV money, so why not share the income from the gameday tickets.

Clubs get money each year from the AFL, who derive revenue from sponsorship, TV rights, final ticket sales and so on.
It would be nice to keep the cash from next weekend, but we won’t - the best we can hope for is it translates into tickets next season.

I'd like to see the "Home" team get 50% (Incorporates ground hire, advertising etc & Potential profits), The "Away" team get 25% to cover travel & accomodation etc, The APL get the last 25%. Or is that too simplistic?

That’s far too selfless for the APL
