That's awesome.

The Nix facebook page has a link to the Melbourne Phoenix supporters page, I'm sure they will have some info for you there on where to buy your seat.

Any Melbourne nix supporters here? Looking to buy myself a ticket to go!! I see both sections are getting closer to selling out so where are the more die hards purchasing their seats?
Oh wow you going?

The aisles you want are SECTION 11 with SECTION 14 for spillover. A slightly bigger little corner of yellow. COYN

“For those who haven't got their tickets yet...

We will be SECTION 11.

If Section 11 is sold out/limited seating, then we'll spread our way across to Section 14 too.

If you've purchased somewhere else, just join us anyway!! 💛🖤”

To be fair - they refer to themselves as the little corner, so they can't sit on the half way line!

How many tickets have been sold for the Melbourne leg?

Going on what somebody else had said fairly recently, I think you'll want to swap "x" for "twitter" when pasting in the link. Let's test the theory:

That's it? Even we've sold more and our leg's a week out. Unless those aren't the complete ticket sales? Just thought Victory would have more than 14.4k 2 days out

Yeah, the sales for the Melbourne leg are really poor. Embarrassing to be honest. Where is the 21k that went to the derby?.

Which in itself was disappointing. The Nix home leg has a very decent chance of exceeding it.

Yeah I think a decent result on Sunday and we will get 25k no problem.

Does Hughes start for a midfielder?
In The Chief's interview today, he said he prefers a four against Victory, but who knows, maybe that's a bluff.

Just a comment on the attendances, last night there was just over 14k at the Sydney v CCM game. I believe as at lunchtime yesterday our figure for Sky is 18k+ already. If the team can get a result in Melbourne, it would boost the sales even more.

Likewise. People say it's an advantage having a week off but I reckon you lose a vital few percentage points of match fitness, both physical and mental. Add to that the Melbourne away game hoodoo and an extremely motivated Victory riding high after a gutsy win and I feel a bit worried we might struggle.

A draw would be great but I wouldn't be too disappointed with a one goal loss. Hopefully Chief has a master plan and the boys come out firing on all cylinders!

I always thought SFC was the preferred opponent.
It's 20 games since the Nix last won at AAMI Park. Hope I'm wrong but it's proper hoodoo territory.

Agree a loss by a goal would feel okayish.

I know these sorts of posts are annoying and offer no insight into the actual pre match discussion. I just moved down to Christchurch from my home Gisborne this week. I'm aware I've gone and moved to the rugby capital of the world but is there any South Island based Nix fans have any recommendations for any pubs in the Central city that might have the game on? The TV and computer haven't made it across the cook straight yet and I can never quite engage the same way when watching sport on my phone.

There aren’t really any proper sport bars since the quake except Monza at the casino. You’d expect they’d play it. Other more suburban pubs like the Fox & Ferrett would put it on if it didn’t clash with another game.

I've watched a bit of sport at Robbies in Riccarton, when visiting the Garden City. But yeah certainly rugby/cricket dominant.

Looks like Warriors KO 2 hours before the Nix v VUC, so should avoid a clash with that.

Edit - The Christchurch Supporters have their own FB Group and were meeting at Robbies for games in 2022. Suggest you give Robbies a ring.

Are people watching the game at the Backbencher or Bethel Woods today? Have the kids with me until 6pm-ish as my wife is doing a mother's day thing...but I reckon if she can meet us around kick off time and I ply them with chips and coke, I might get away with it. Maybe even 4kingz for old times sake?

Yeah, the sales for the Melbourne leg are really poor. Embarrassing to be honest. Where is the 21k that went to the derby?.

Attendances baffle me in this league tbh. It's a semi final, what you play for all year and many don't go along. 14k in Sydney is embarrassing too, should be 20k easy. Very strange, but it proves that many who go to the derbies aren't actually fans of the club.

Wanna know the worst part? Attendance at the sydney game was 13.8k, meanwhile their season attendance has been 14.1k. Meaning that for a semi final against the reigning champions and current Premiers they pulled bellow average.

Even if it was raining that's just embarrassing. Hopefully the second leg really shows who has the best fans in the league.

Let’s be real too. If it was raining on MD badly at leg 2 and we had sold 30k tickets, how many are showing up?
I know the victory on the rainy Friday game we sold enough for a 9k+ crowd and only 6,300 came..
Edit: we are we still the best fans in the league

If that was Auckland 300 fans would have shown. You can take 1,000 fans off for every cloud in the sky up there (Just in case it might rain).
