It was good that Sunderland got beaten
Starting to warm to this gaffer. What the fans are seeing is 11 lads working hard but also Newcastle bossing teams.
There's been a lot of wishing your rivals well lately. So, in that spirit, let me go on the record: I hope Arsenal and Sunderland both lose this weekend.

Doloras, Fortean Times, all those others - they mean nothing to me.
It really does need posting again:

We almost ignored the Sport Newcastle Awards. Yet another good young 'keeper!
A pity Tommy S has gone a bit quiet.
You must admit Paulm that Stripes is giving you lot an invitation to spam on this thread. Normally your lot just come on in to everyone else's with a whole lot of stoopid (but not you... mostly!).
Just ask him out already.
Actually - don't.
If I wanted to get into a flame war with Gunners fans, I'd just post true things about Arsenal in their sub-forum.

I hear he's a good player, though I've never watched him in a game. However, his nickname goes well with Jonas'. Perhaps Joey Barton will grow his sideburns until we win the league?

The Chronicle is continuing to campaign for Barton and Nolan to get England call-ups. I have no idea why - it's not as though England has a reputation for looking after Newcastle players. They also carry an interview with Beardsley about Kuqi's influence on the Reserves.
In other news, Phil Airey is hoping that Newcastle gets relegated.
Would be happy with a point but I think this will be quite a hard ask.
Too many injuries to wide players. Also, I was too tired to get up and watch the game.

Ah, so you've started following Newcastle! Great news, welcome aboard! Please make sure that your unrealistic expectations are securely stored - this may be a bumpy ride!
Oh, and how are those red-shirt-wearing types you used to support doing? (Manchester United, wasn't it?)

No I think it was their biggest rivals - the other red shirted team - Perennial Strugglers Liverpool

Ah, the old, "shake-Ashley-out" fan position. Well, we're all keeping our fingers crossed for a man on a white horse, but I don't think relegation will make that any more likely.
