So all i have to do is avoid losing by 2 or more goals and i've cliched the title? Should be able to manage that.

Actually lose at all and you lose the title. The GD is to your advantage by 1 now, but theprof has scored more goals. Unless you lose like 5-4 I guess. Makes for a great final week!

More onto it this week

Premiership

TTU need to win by 17 against Khandallah Lokomotiv next week to take the title away from Tegal.

Newly promoted sides Sky Valley and Khandallah lokomotiv going straight back down, with the trains taking the wooden spoon. This top 3 are proving to be a tough lot to beat.

Division 2

Sanchez A.F.C wrap up the division 2 title.

Tawa FC will need to beat Racing Fat Cockneys in a big relegation match up next week. A draw will be good enough for Racing Fat Cockneys.

Battle Hill F.C going down with the wooden spoon.

Division 3

Elite F.C. 0 - 1 Peow FC

Wellington Phoenix FC 2 - 1 Highlands FC

Racing Club North Shore need a draw next week against Elite F.C. to take the division 3 title. A loss will see the title go to Wellington Phoenix FC. Both clubs are guaranteed promotion.

Elite F.C. and Highlands FC will be dropping back down to division 4, with Highlands FC picking up the wooden spoon.

Division 4

Waikato Whippingboys 0 - 0 AD Fafe
Surge Thunder FC 2 - 1 Los Halcones Locos FC
Tawa AFC wrapped up the Division title long ago. It has quite possibly been the most comprehensive league win in YF League history.
3 teams battling for the last promotion spot. If AD Fafe beats Los Halcones Locos FC - they gain promotion, a draw and they will be hoping Surge Thunder FC don't pull off an upset win against Tawa AFC, a loss and they miss out on promotion.
Surge Thunder FC needs to upset Tawa AFC and hope AD Fafe doesn't win against Los Halcones Locos FC.
Los Halcones Locos FC need to beat AD Fafe and hope Surge Thunder FC doesn't win against Tawa AFC
Waikato Whippingboys have the bye, so need AD Fafe to beat Los halcones Locos FC by 6 goals or more to avoid the wooden spoon.

Well a draw against the WhippingBoys really wasn't good enough, needed the win there, would've made the promotion chance better. Oh well, I suppose it is another clean sheet, so we are getting somewhere on defense. That's our third straight clean sheet in the Yellow Fever League.

Hopefully we can score against Los Halcones to get the necessary victory and promotion, all to play for in the bottom division.

What a terrible game, no shots until the 70th minute, ended with just 1 on target, I was at least expecting some action given the terrible backline I trotted out. Ah well.
I don't get it, I've played Wellington Phoenix FC three times in friendly matches, winning once, drawing once and losing once, and they're going up to Div 2, yet I can't do a thing in the friendly league.

LOL yeah my attack have been more than a bit toothless lately, my defense on the other hand is a rock, I've conceded 3 goals in my last 6 or 7 games in all competitions. Really need to be able to score though. Thinking about just trotting out my youngsters and seeing if they can do better than the old hands upfront.

And the final day of this season is upon us.

The battle for the second promotion spot from Div 4 is as tight as it could get. Though a win tonight will give me the spot. A draw would mean I need Surge to not win against Tawa, and a loss would see me not promoted.

Edit: I am guessing the Whippingboys would like me to test my "Very Attacking" formation?

In the 29th minute and Los Halcones score 1-0, but that leaves Surge going up, and Fafe dropping to 4th

But more importantly, Waikato need you to score 7 to avoid the spoon now!

Hmm I don't think I am getting promoted, another goal for Halcones makes it 2-0, while the other game stays 1-0, Surge still leading the promotion race.

Hey Tegal,

I'm happy to offer up 10-15 pro days for division three, not sure what for but I'm happy to be guided in this.

Legend. You can take over division 3, which just involves giving the winner (of the 6th edition, not the current one that ends next week) 10 pro days. TM does take a tax, so it'll cost you more like 12-13 days. I can give you instuctions on how to do it closer to the time - just maybe remind me haha.
So we currently have:
Premiership - 14 days (Paid by me)
Division 2 - 12 days (paid by me)
Division 3 - 10 days (paid by theprof)
Division 4 - 7 days (paid by ramtallica)
fair play - 5 days (paid by Ramtallica)
Thanks Guys!

Haha cheers man. Was going to get to this tonight :).

To do list:

Update and post league tables

Update and post fair play table.

Organise sending of pro days.

Send pro days.

Chase up anyone who hasn't yet registered for next league.

Then sort divisions.

See who can send invites, and send invites.

Chase up stragglers who take a while to accept invites :p

Start league and tell others to start their leagues.

Updates the 'who's who' thread once the new TM season starts.

Groan. I didn't realise the fixtures were cleared in peoples club pages as well as in the friendly league page. Now I have no idea as to results.

The fair play table will also have to be from the last round. So congrats Tawa AFC!

Incredibly sorry guys!

I can kind of guess the winners though.

Premiership - Tegal

Division 2 - Sanchez A.F.C

Division 3 - racing club north shore

Division 4 - tawa AFC

Fair play - Tawa AFC

promotion and relegation is the awkward bit....

Premiership - relegation: Khandallah lokomotiv, Sky valley

Division 2 - promotion: Sanchez A.F.C and im guessing Wellington Phoenix (unless Fat Cockneys happened to win by 8?)

Division 2 - relegation: Battle Hill F.C and Tawa FC/Racing Fat Cockneys....any idea guys?

Division 3 promotion - Racing Club North Shore, Wellington Phoenix FC

Division 3 relegation - Elite F.C., Highlands FC

Division 4 promotion - Tawa AFC, Surge Thunder FC

As for the pro rewards, I'll send these out next week, to coincide with the start of the new TM season. Figure it'll be more of use then. If you'd prefer it before hand, let me know.

Yeah didnt think they normally got erased. Perhaps its a new background thing they coded to reduce strain on servers. Less history = less strain.

Will keep it in mind for next time anyway.
