Might have been brought up earlier but where can we get official numbering and any approximate price. I'm gonna get one with probably Wood on the back to wear around Europe.

yes, ordering mine now

still don't understand why people are getting these at local shops, they are over-priced and won't do the personalised names and numbers for you

Hey, Ryos I went online and it said you guys are out of stock.  When you are in stock I might order one to be shipped down to Christchurch.  Are the sizes the same as those on the Phoenix shirts, though?

Its almost equally important to have overseas suppliers turning over stock as well though. The more places overseas who stock our stuff, the better. And if that stuff is bought, it keeps those suppliers wanting to stock more merchandise. I see Prodirect sold out of the away shirt and Kitbag have sold out of a couple of sizes.

And currently, overseas is the only way to get official lettering and numbering.

Does anyone here have one of these new shirts in size small? If so Id be very grateful for a measurement of one of the sleeves (armpit to end would be fine). Thanks to whomever replies.

Cheers. Would you say they fit like the average tshirt to their corresponding size? Or a bit smaller/larger?

Maybe slightly slightly narrower than standard shirts. My Perennial strugglers Liverpool shirts and AW shirt are both medium, both fit me well but the AW shirt is fractionally smaller.

The new All Whites kits in NZ stores dont appear to have the large ventilation holes/side panels that the All Whites boys recently modelled at the launch.....whats that all about? Did Nike make some last minute modification after they already manufactured some (and sent them to NZ to sell) or something. Is anyone able to confirm that the shirts off kitbag.com have/do not have the large holes?!?! Or will i have to wait and see when i receive my stinky size M :o(

Cheers

The Strips that have just arrived into our stores  DO have the ventilation panels down the sides.

Are they the large ones though?
Me and that blonde guy who is always there (Help me here phil) were talking about it and compared the one I bought to the one there.

I suspected that the large holed vents were for players shirts only.

I always go with the feeling that If I'm going to pay $150 for a Replica shirt its going to be a replica because these "replica's" are kind of not.
Permalink Permalink
almost 16 years ago · edited over 13 years ago
When you built a replica model of an A10 Tankbuster was it the same as the real thing?
Permalink Permalink
almost 16 years ago · edited over 13 years ago
Haha, Thats fair enough but because a shirt can be similar realistically I would hope it would be.

Attention to detail.
Its wasted at subway
Hey Stef... I got you now seeing that clip. NO the shop ones are not as holey as those the players have. This quite often happens between sports shirts in all codes that the players are actually wearing and the ones that are retailed in stores.

The All Blacks and the Hurricanes shirts are a perfect example. What you buy in any sport stores be it RYOS,REBEL, STIRLINGS are not the same as what they players wear, they look identical but the players shirts are alot more technical and detailed and you will find that they are also a different cut and fit to the shirts that are retailed. As a cosequence if they were to retail the palyers quality shirts i.e the more technical they would end up being out of reach as they tend to be a lot more expensive than the less detailed and technical shirts that are retailed in store

Some of you will have noticed how fitting the rugby shirts are on players, this isnt because they are wearing one to small,  it is actually cut like this. The prime reason for this particular feature is to reduce the ability of opposition players being able to grab hold of you.

So here we have a similar situation with the AW's although the shirts that are retailed  look similar at a glance they are actually different to what the players are wearing , the players will be a lot more technical than the retail version. In this instance they have more ventlation holes because its actually a sports performance garment, we as average jo bloggs and pie eaters dont really fancy having big ventilation holes... not a nice look!! which is why the retail version has smaller ventilation holes.. phew hope i havent put you to sleep
