Man! Without any school the days go even slower as I'm scouring these forums and other ones to kill sometime. Unbelievable.

From the article "Sigmund finds humour in 'bruisers' taunt" - stuff.co.nz ...

The Gulf News report also made the extraordinary claim that Westpac Stadium groundsmen were "understood to be planning to further soak the pitch should it look like drying because they believe playing on a heavy surface will prove advantageous to the home side''.

The writer clearly has no knowledge of Wellington's capricious climate or the stadium pitch's propensity for draining quickly in the worst deluge.

Farking hilarious. Couldn't turn the pitch into a "heavy surface" if we wanted to!

Fuck this stupid game

The Arab press wouldn't be making excuses in advance would it?

I saw that article too, what a joke. Also said something like, "New Zealand are a bunch of bruisers who want to stamp their authority on the match" making it sound like we're just a bunch of thugs.

Coming, ready of not.  The rest of NZ is on its way.  Like a mass mobilisation.  Well, myself and another bloke in the office at least.

I had an awful thought that some loser was going to do a "lisa lewis" and run onto the field with their undies then auction them on trade me.  We'd never get to host another game again.   Better not happen. WARNING
