Garbett and Just putting a big shift in during the attacking phases but christ I wish it wasn't such panic stations in the defence as soon as we don't have possession.
indeed, too many times our midfield has los the ball or passed it to noone, just too casual and gave Mabil all the time in the world to hit that too the bottom corner.
When we press and move forward we actually look a good team. Defence is shocking though.
Agreed, even though hes injury prone obviously and well retiring, always feel way more confident with Winston in the back line, not just his play but organisational skllls.
has been an entertaining 1st 45. Equal chances 6 each, they've scored from their only one on tatget. Just and Garbett have looed good, as has Woodsie. Cacacae has been busy, Pinjaker done well same as Payne/Boxall Bell has been off. We;ve just given the ball away too many times. Overall though I'd think Arnold would be the more unhappy of the two coaches.

We competed really well that half, created some good chances and look good with the ball. Getting caught in transition and on the counter as we seem to be leaving some big holes in the middle with Garbett and Bell both pushing up at times.
Jeez, this half has gone by in an absolute flash. Despite the odds and trailing 1-0 I think we've looked pretty decent, especially going forward - Some good lively passing and actually taking on the man in 1v1 situations. Bit suspect at the back, but we're bloody well in this one.
Garbett and Just leading the way for us so far. Now to find our ever elusive goal... Come on lads! Big 2nd half please 🙏
Something I've noticed in our game is we can match if not outplay the opposition, but then can't put anything away and then concede a soft one, really irks me even more because we genuinely look good at times. I think we're really missing the Nelsen/peak Reid type of player in the back

yeah I think this is becoming a noticble problem for us. We go at full pelt creating good chances around the edge of the box but never anything to shoe for it and you never really feel like we've got the cutting edge or flair to finish the job. It's all quite flat. And inevitably we concede something soft on the counter l.
Wood needs to do something useful and absolutely lay one on Sainsbury. Who’s pushed him into Ryan there. And got away with endless cheap shots on Just. And Wood’s had to listen to the whiny yappy bs about how we should protect them. Especially after their bs prior to the saffer cup.
