The whole team has been crap, not one outfield player can say they have done anything this whole tournament. Time all the money went onto Womens football where we at least have a chance of winning.

Comment by chinese commentators on CCTV (who are entirely neutral as they know nothing about either side or football in general): "New Zealand just appear to have surrended"

This game is an absolute disgrace.  I've turned the T.V. off.  I don't like my little sister watch trash on T.V. so I'd be a hypocrite if I continued to watch that.

I understand the saffa's coach being so pissed off with his player's missing sitters and just not seeming to want to score a 3rd. I'd be angry at them, even though they won, for messing so many up.

2-0 is flattering.

If they play like this against Iraq it will be another embarrasement.

The only chance in the World Cup play off will be if the team is at full strength (no christie and mulligan) but even more importantly they need to get some basics right....

Can't believe I got up at 2.30am to watch that.

Has Pienaar just had new nipple piercings done or something?? Whats with the white patches on his chest?

It was a disgraceful performance no 2 ways about it, only Moss comes out with any credit.

The score flattered us. I don't think I even want to hear what RH has to say - same old... something, somehow, needs to change.

Fast.

I wish I could feel confident about our WC qualifiers later in the year, but based on this game its not looking good.
If by some miracle they get up and play well for the Iraq game they could salvage some pride..all thats left to play for now in SA.

"Hopeless, shocking, a disgrace, the worst midfield in the world". That's Craig Foster from SBS on the All Whites.

Just thought you should know.

I want to know where the f**k did Ricky Herbet get his managerial skills from? Why weren't changes made at 1.0 when we had a chance to, herbert just blew it and gave SA the momentum to score and make it 2.0. From then on it was going to be impossible!

James should have been on at half time and same with with Wood. You needed attacking players straight away!! This brings the question of "Why didnt James start", he is one of the attacking players and offers a lot more than Christie who hardly ever plays!

Sack Riki Herbert and Wyton Rufer to be manager!!

Agree, the coach has to take a lot of responsibility for this, I honestly don't think he is up to it at this level. Poor tactics poor team/positional selection and no idea when it comes to substitutions.

Any other country he would be out on his ear, you can argue all you want about us not having the players but we at least need to get our tatctics and selections right.

The chances of us getting to the world cup are very slim.

Well, as far as 2-0 wins go, that was probably the most emphatic one I've ever seen. We were never in the game - we're simply not up to it at this level.

Blame whoever you want to, but whatever 11 we'd put out there today, the outcome would have been the same (only the scoreline may have been more if Mossy wasn't in goal). Men vs boys it was.
