I got the feeling they didn't really like Mully. He got a few rough push overs.

LOLs included Elliottt hitting the bar from a foot out and Killen's pink boots, Wood owned everyone at shooting practise.

Also, Mulligan scored in a 1-0 win for the second stringers, and was rubbish otherwise, Wood was very impressive.

If anyone understands Spanish, I found a video interviewing the Hondurans before leaving. They are mostly complaining about a more than 20 hour flight and saying they will have to listen to a lot of Bob Marley!

It looked like that bloke was taking a long book on motivation.  My Spanish is appalling, 2 weeks in Mexico 20 years ago and a couple of days in Spain.  I can probably ask where I can buy a steak.  Understanding the difference between senores and mujeres is fairly vital.

Any more sightings???

14500 tickets sold according to radio sport

looks like it will be very close to a sell out given the walk up crowd habits. I suspect some people might end up disappointed when they show up finding its been sold out.

Sitting in the open stand (group of 12) so fingers crossed it doesnt rain.
May make it to the pub for a few ales, will be getting stuck into them at home beforehand anyway.

Think I'll have to roll with my WBA shirt, Chris Wood to score the winner in the 85th minute...
2-1 All Whites.

Have to say- the buses are a good scheme- if you drive to NH- someone can't drink and that sucks. Tickets are good- think the buses may be packed...

Hey, I'm heading down from Grey Lynn too, probably going to catch an earlier bus though to give space for serious drinking.

So Sky TV's coverage starts at 7.30 - does that mean kickoff will be a bit later?  You'd think they'd have some sort of buildup.  I hope so as I finish work a bit later.

Was that you standing by the halfway line. Sort of tallish

Yeah, with a tripod and a flip cam! Thought it did a good enough job, although it's pretty shakey for the interviews!

Thanks Hammer Head - I don't usually do sports stories so it was a pleasure getting to cover the All Whites. Of course as a fan I just want to boost the coverage to make sure these games sell out! I'm starting to get confident we will have a great crowd now, I'm getting excited! Come on you All Whites!

Hoping for a big walk up crowd so I'd get there as early as possible if I were you.

At last, I've gone four months without international footie.
I reckon from a marketing stance, having the Oceania Womens Final before hand would have guaranteed a bumper crowd from the start.
It's going to be tough, honduras are normally rated 30s which is where we would love to be, but the All Whites are starting to string it together up front, so I'm sure we will score.edward l2010-10-09 08:42:39

Im doing some photography work for North Harbour Stadium and 5 minutes ago spoke to the stadium manager about the brief for the job. 10:20am phone call.
He told me that there were literally 6 seats left in the main stand and just over 4000 tickets left for the rest of the stadium. this includes the grass areas. On top of that they are putting in extra seating. They are expecting the game to sell out.
If you know anyone wanting to go and they havent got a ticket I would suggest you give them a buzz and tell them to get there early to queue for tickets. I suspect that there will be some disappointed people who show up and cant get tickets.
Also I was told there are going to be traffic restrictions in place so if you are driving over you might want to get there earlier as well.

Sun is out, but there is a lot of clouds around. Auckland weather can change within like 5 mins.

It was sunny 15 minutes ago. Then there was a downpour for 10 minutes. Now it's sunny again. WELCOME TO AUCKLAND.
