Jamaica vs New Zealand.
52nd in World vs 118th in World.
CONCACAF vs Oceania.

Should be a good game, hoping for a big crowd. I'm guessing just NZ/Aus based players, oh and maybe US ones. Probable lineups ? Anybody know anything about the Jamaican team ?

(No complaining. Do that in the "2012 Friendly Discussion" thread. This is just match talk.)

It's a FIFA window, so we can call up anyone we want. Think we should call up the best squad available, opportunities like this aren't all that frequent for the All Whites.

I am a can of Keen Beans for this one. Definitely a wicked test if we make it the play-offs for that 0.5 of a spot. Hope that Lovel Palmer is playing for Jamaica...

We will never fully decide who has won the football.

We really need to start thinking about a long term replacement for Elliott. We need a holding/distributing midfielder to sit deep and dictate play. I've never seen Keat play but maybe he could do it. This match could be a good chance to try him out at least

The Escape Committee in my Stalag is pretty tough.  I wouldn't even start on a plan.

Woohoo, got cheap Grabaseat flights the other day, I'm relieved it's been confirmed!

I spend that twice a year (minimum) to go to Wallytown.

I've never (ever) missed an All Whites' game at Mt. Smart and I'm not going to miss this one. I was at every one in '81. At the start I knew half the crowd by name, in the end we were getting 32,000.
I'm very interested to see Jamaica.

Buying tickets, not sure if I can make it (though I am pretty adamant I will), but still buying tickets, see what happens.

We will never fully decide who has won the football.

Why is this at Mt. Smart?

Doesn't it legally have to be at North Harbour?

Also a little unfortunate for this to be confirmed 15 hours after a 1-day Air New Zealand flight sale ended...

Yes. Parliament passed a law stating that all games must be played a NHS. This is HIGHLY illegal.

Three for me, and two for them.

Isn't there some contractural, and therefore "legal" thing that states all All White games in Auckland must be played at North Harbour Stadium until about 2743?

Pleased to see they have chosen Mt Smart over Nth Harbour.

In terms of the team I have a feeling that our Ricki will have half an eye on London, which should mean starting places for Kosta, Gleeson, Wood, Rojas and Smith.

Coupled with his three preferred over aged players it would give the nucleus of the team a good hit out and time to gell

Auckland will rise once more

Woohoo!!! Can't wait for this! And $29 a ticket (probably plus $5-$6 Booking Fee) is reasonable.
So..any word on these pre-sale tickets then? :)

I could have done the same to be honest but ultimately this saves me $160 plus incidentals which I can put towards any POSSIBLE Grand Final.

Not counting my chickens at all but if we qualify I'm on the first plane out.

So I am going to assume that the plan will be to get liquored up in the Viaduct en masse and then train out to the venue?

The train does not go to Albany.

Five minute walk, if you can cut through the back and not have to all the way around to Maurice Road.

Who's the Aucklander?

Dolores, Yes.  We might even be back at Foxes.
