About time the over age players, Elliott and Killen, stepped up. Elliott's looked like a donkey and not playing for a season has shown. Killen, well he just hasn't been in the games. Maybe the long balls to him have been the wrong move, but his touches have been ordinary. If these guys lead like they should we might have a good shot

Yeah, i just saw in the lineup for tonight at the end of the afternoon coverage no mention of the football. very worrying!

Looks like TV1 wont be showing it. From 11.30 onwards they are showing Womens Basketball, cycling, swimming and hockey.

Looks like freeview is playing Brazil v Latvia womens basketball ahead of the olywhites, pushing them back to 'TVNZ.co.nz three'.

it doesnt look like its on Freeview to me. it looks like its on the 2nd of the internet channels they have set up. i presume you can screen those?

Wow, speechless, i can't understand how this has been relegated so far.

And to show on the freeview alternative channel a game which doesn't even include a national representative is absurd.

Has any one bombarded them with phone calls or emails. Surely its an oversight. Brazil vz latvia basketball instead???

On the terrible refereeing in this tournament, is it any surprise when you see stories like this??

AUCKLAND - New Zealand referee Mike Hester has been selected to referee a second match at the Menï¿½s Olympic Football Tournament in Beijing on Wednesday night.

Hester will be the man in the middle for Korea Republic v Honduras, a match which the Koreans must win to have any chance of progressing to the quarter-finals.

Hester and the is part of an Oceania trio of officials ï¿½ also including Tevita Makasini (Tonga) and Michael Joseph (Vanuatu).

Firstly, is Hester NZ's top referee? I would have thought that was Peter O'leary (stand to be corrected). But secondly, look at his assistants! Based on some of the refereeing we have seen dished out to NZ teams playing in the islands this looks like a terrible decision. Top tournament and players need top referees, as we've seen so far. Get on it IOC/FIFA

Just watching the yawnfest that is the Italy v Cameroon game. The commentator said that Italy would be playing Belgium in the next round. Bloody cheek! We haven't even played yet and we've been written off.

Just heard Andrew Dewhurst say they're covering the Olywhites on RS, but that they'll be criss-crossing to the men's hockey match against Spain as well.

Disappointing that this is only available online.
