Nelsen has spit the dummy before remember and not played for the AWs. NZF perhaps treading on egg shells and trying not to upset him again. To my mind we have to be tough on these clubs and insist on their release. If they come up with the old chesnut of injury - get a doctor down there to check him out and call the clubs to account if they are mucking us around. If not, we will end up like rugby league with no english based players being picked for our national team. Play hardball is my call.

I wouldn't go that far Napier - I think he's done enought to earn the right to cal it as he sees it.  It's the other guys that I think owe us a bit more...

Normo's coming home

I agree with what someone said earlier if Tim Cahill plays every game for Aussie then goes back and plays after just being on a plan then our guys can do it. Harden the f**k up.

Also, I understand the point that Ryan Nelsen is making but going on air and saying the Winston Reid - who wants to come back and play these games shouldn't - isn't really "on message". It's ok for Ryan to think like that, NZF owes him nothing and we need him more than he needs us. But Winston Reid has had a large career boost playing at the World Cup, which he to his credit seems to appreciate, and he wants to play, so why is Ryan trying to discourage him?

Tim Cahill and Schwarzer play every friednly for Australia in FIFA windows, I don't see why it should be any different for our guys who only need to make one trip home a season.

He wasnt trying to discourage him, he was trying to explain to the general public why Reid might not come back for the games.

Word is Ticketek have some tickets up for pre-sales for "Premium" members?

There is a wait list on their website for notification anyway

Just as well none of the All Whites play for Man U as they'd never be available due to unfortunately timed injuries.  Maybe Keano has learned all of his lessons from SAF...

News - is there details on where the White Noise section will be at NHS?
Should we start a new thread on that, or did you already?

Bring doughnuts.....and cider..

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Prices out for both the games.  Gold tickets are $49 for an adult, $25 for a child, or $125 for a family of 2 adults and 2 children.  Silver tickets are $39 for an adult, $19 for a child and $99 for the family ticket.

Good pricing.

So the link above is just for MyTicketek Presales, right? Is there another for Nix members that will be up Monday?

No.  Sydney Airport is our nearest.

Smithy at one game last year came straight to the bencher (with a quick stop at home) off a flight from Sydney with a carton.  Has gone down in Fever lore.

In fact he had to fight of Andy Barron's attempts to steal them.

Apparently that link will allow White Noise Zone sales so will be what we're pushing Monday (hopefully in that dodgy black square at the top - but no guarantees).

Sounds like a challenge. I get in on Friday morning though so they wouldn't be as fresh. Still sound good?

Plus I don't know what anyone looks like, so I'm just going to have to wander into Bloc 5 yelling "doooooooonuuuuuuutssssss"

Ale House is on Oteha Valley Road in the old Albany township.  Just North of the Stadium... you walk past the NZ Football artificial training pitch to get to the stadium.
