Flights and accommodation booked and paid for. Fuego Jnr coming too, just like 2009.  Should be about 20 from my club, hope getting tickets in a big group isn't too much of a hassle.

Yeah, but the best you'll get out of the All Whites is a shouty, out-of-tune rendition of Slice of Heaven. Hardly a fair comparison.

Ray Woolf (Heading for the Top) and Tina Cross (Marching off to Brasil) half-time entertainment.

I would pay to see that (Tina mostly, but Ray strikes me as a nice chap).

I reckon Beyonce, Fleetwood M etc. would die for a 35,000-voice support crew even out of tune.

Any word on ticket sale date and prices and limits.  I might have a group of around 25-30 coming up from CHCH and would like to be all in one section, near the White Noise.

Need to know all the info and within enough time to get them sorted!

Any chance Kiwirail might put on a special train for us out of towners (i.e Aucklanders)?

VF - Last time I just called their group bookings line when pre-slaes began, they were very helpful, got a us seats in the White Noise Zone for about 35 people

I sent Nakedbus.co.nz an email last week asking if they would be interested in running a fleet of White Noise Express buses from Auckland to Wellington, the customer services person has sent the message on to their Marketing team.  I mentioned that this thread has had over 40k views...hopefully something comes of it?

Just heard back from Naked bus, if we can guarantee 49 people for the trip we can get $60 trips between Auckland and Wellington

Hi Mike,

Thanks for your email and sorry for my delayed response.

I have spoken to our Operations Department regarding ' “Road to Brazil

2014 via Wellington' bus and they are willing to supply a bus on Wednesday 20th of November if you guarantee 49 passengers to make the trip from Auckland - Wellington.

For the return trip Auckland - Wellington you would be looking at approximately $60 return. Which I believe is alot cheaper than flying!!!

Looking forward in hearing your thoughts.

Kind Regards,

Whitney

She has done a collaboration with her nephew in the last few years, but is pretty much a recluse (like Agnetha Faltskog).

Still, 5 mins of Christine would be good!

Any tips for those from out of town?

I really can't see why NZF is farting around with the ticket price and release date. WTF have they been doing for the last few months while they were working out which venue the match will be played. Surely these things would have been done in tandem. It makes the whole thing look amateurish. There are loads of fans trying to sort out travel etc and don't know ticketing arrangements, its a midweek game so people have to make lots of plans to sort out their travel, time off work etc . IMO its a real insult to football fans. The lack of communications is just not on......end of rant!!!!!!
