Live kick off is 6.45am NZ time.  So yeah, sounds like live.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

If it is going to be screened on sky, will the backbencher/4 kings be showing the game?

I passed the word to TVNZ that it is a soccer match against the World Champions and that Sky has just decided to show it live. I don't think they would do a delay highlight of the game at such late notice but I hope that other people give them a call. If there is a good number of enquiries then they may look in to it more.

Call to 09 916 7000 to ask if they would show a game against the Soccer World Champions.

I'm confused now, on the sky listings on the internet it shows it is being shown but the reply to my email of a few days ago (received 3.05pm today) states:

"At this stage Sky will only air from the beginning of the Confederations Cup, not including the warm up games unfortunately."

Think its great that SKY is showing this game. a little bit of pressure and there you go. heres hoping (big hope) that the all whites can put up a decent showing, like 1-0 or 2-1 or something like that. Hope over tomorrow people become aware that its on.

I am impressed they managed to get the Italy game live for you guys in NZ.

Anyone in the UK know of anywhere that it might be on TV? some italian bar or something?

I am sure it will be on the internet streaming somewhere, but the quality is crap on my pc.

I am sure you guys will also be on here posting updates on the net for us if we have nothing else? please

If we build it, they will come...

Media coverage of confed tour and build up has been sh*te so far. Presumably tv will give the italy game a mention tonight but a game v world champs should be sports lead. im friggin sick of every ALl black broken nail and henry selection decision. f@#K off. all blacks b versus france c in the meaningless Iveco serious gets blanket coverage all bloody week. we will win, obviously, as usual, and nobody outside NZ will give a damn, obviously, as usual.

Yeah I phoned TVNZ and got someone who really didn't give a toss. I asked are you going to show any highlights of the All Whites/Italy game and got the response no we don't have the rights to the 20/20. Doh! wokingfan2009-06-10 17:19:10

I really need to finish an assignment on anthropological advocacy before the game.  Going to be one long night.  The thought of us winning, though, will push me through.

I gave Trax bar (railway station) a call and they are showing the All Whites v Italia game tomorrow morning. However, you will miss the first 15 mins (and a Smeltz hat-trick?) as they do not open until 7am. Hopefully, the boys get wired in and a sneak a historic result.

By the way, they do a decent brekky.
