I have the same sort of opinion. Warriors did it for a game,that was excellent. All Blacks seemed to have done it to get coverage for their training session,when they otherwise may not have because of the AWs. If they were genuine theyd have done it for the game on the weekend,as the warriors did.
 
But still never thought would see the day when the All blacks and warriors would be showing support for the AWs

Good coverage on TV3 - short blurbs from Smiff and Granville also.

Smiff looks like he managed to get sunburnt even in South African winter.

Also spoke to Ivan Vicelich's sister Angela.  Simply terrifying.  Lots of coverage on 3 and Prime.  Didn't see 1 but can safely assume it wasn't of the same calibre?

One did well I thought. The first 15 mins of the news was the All Whites, then again in the sport section and then again on Close Up (interview with Smeltz and Reid).

The only downers were Stanaway trying to go all hip hop at the end of his segment and Sainsbury's interview with Smeltz and Reid was a bit of a wipeout because of:

a) a bad delay in the feed from SA, and

b) they might be a couple of little bewdies but Smeltz and Reid are terrible interview subjects. Oh my lord it was painful. 2 words - media training!

TV3 also had Gourdie getting mobbed by White Noise as he was trying to talk to the camera.

Then Smith saying he'd bare Winston's children and Granville declaring his love as well.

...and the local stuff had the inaugural Fever scholarship winner Dan Findlay at the end screaming at the camera.

For German speakers out there, Wynton Rufer gets trotted out everytime the German press needs an angle on NZ Football

 
Some notable points:
 
- Asked about Paston, he says he made several errors in the leadup, but he is "all we have". Doesn't understand why some guy Marinovic wasn't called up, as he is the "future for NZ in goal"
- Asked who he celebrated the equaliser with, he said noone, as he was watching at home, by himself.

Because Wynton, Marinovic is playing (occassionally) in division 4 in Germany with your son and no matter how much he attended WYNRS that's no jumping off point for the World Cup.  If he could see past his own agendas he would see that Jake Gleeson is playing at a higher level and would be deserving of a call-up before Marinovic at this point.

Not saying that both aren't the future for the All Whites.

Interesting now we can see Aussie coverage of Cup on Sky:
 
"FIFA WORLD CUP TODAY": 5pm every weekday, earlier on weekends: Sky Sport 3
 
Worth checking out this half hour show which is Australia's daily Cup magazine show hosted by English-born A-League commentator Simon Hill.
Has quite a lot of coverage of the All Whites too.
Was brilliant on Wednesday when a third of the show was dedicated to the All Whites: guest Andrew Dewhurst, feature on the White Noise fans with Aussie journo travelling on their bus, plenty of White Noise fans' chants glorifying Aussies' loss and Cahill's sending off, fan reaction after game, match highlights, discussion of Aussie media coverage of game e.g. Sydney Morning Herald front page "Australasia 1 : Slovakia 1. 
Segment finished with Aussie journalist in midst of a crowd of White Noise fans gamely suggesting "Would an ANZAC team be a good idea in future?" and being draped with All Whites scarves and drowned out by howls of derision...
Jeez, they've certainly turned on their team across the ditch- you can pick up the disillusionment on this show too- they're much more positive about the AWs than their own team...
