Was going Canty's way until then.

Was that a tripple booking on Waitak or just a warning, Claph must be sore.
Canty parked in Waitak box bur can't quite connect.

Why the F did Canterbury leave Atwell on the bench he has been head a shoulders better than Collins all season? Same goes for Faichnie over Feni.
Faichnie got subbed at Nelson when the best Canterbury player.
You have to put your head in a bucket to work out the selection process.

Win by 5 at home against the best team in the comp? Should make for an entertaining game at least. Maybe this time Braithwaite won't play with just Kamo up front? I hear the fat lady warming up .......

What's sight without sound? Love without peace? Copulation without conception?

Tullet appears to be the new home of Canty football.

Kamo made a couple of breaks into the box from the right.
Feni shook up Waitak as he did ACFC on Thursday night, but has a habit of playing so much over the top of the ball that he lef the ball behind on half a dozen occasions.

How about a pick the score on the 2nd leg.
Canterbury to win 4-0.
As I never get picks correct this just might be the first time.
Well don't forget Coastal are doing their best to rough up the pitch for next week.

How on earth did Gagame Feni not make the Solomon Island under-20 squad?

Who gives a toss about Solomon Island football, put it in it's own thread.

Good result today with Canty winning one nil, however not enough to turn around the 6-2 thrashing in the first leg.

Was a good game with plenty of attacking. One of Waitak's players got 2 yellows so must miss the final.

All on action in the first ten minutes at both ends with both keepers making telling saves. Just a little luck and Canterbury could of had the dream start we all wanted.

Whats the story with Claps? Know he was looking outside of the NZFC. Did he have any luck? Will he be back, if he's still in the national league would fully expect one of the big two to pick him up.

I'll be interested to see if any of the Richmond Athletic imports make the Canterbury United squad. Che Wilson, who last played in League One in the UK in 2007, I believe will be leaving soon. Ben Wright, who has scored against Chelsea, and young winger Sam Mason-Smith would both be up to that level. Ben and Sam have been scoring for fun and are quite tall and fast.

Most of the players from last year have not yet been contacted, as of last Thursday night.
The players on the new boys list seem to be getting asked or may just be the one player.

Who is the new assistant coach? Applications closed last weekend.
Tony Gumley with his calm manner would be a good foil to Keith.
Any other gossip.
Which players in the MPL teams are performing week in week out and have the game and application to step up?
