Marcos injured, smeltz touch and go with injury, Fallon at an age where he's close to retiring. Kosta more of a wide player. When you talking big frontmen who else have we got. Give the guy a go, he's scored for AWs before and played at confeds cup so can't be too bad. If you no good JV you stay in NZ and play winter football and that's it. If you are working in an industry and get an offer with more money and see the world before settling down, what's the problem with moving around. He's only 25 or 26 so good on him I say.
Smeltz is older than Fallon (32 next month vs. Fallon turned 31 in March) whilst Killen turns 32 in October...So, Fallon could have 3/4 more years as a pro...especially since he's been an injury-free sort of player. Chris Wood would be the first-choice centre-forward these days and could play with Kosta out wide or lying deeper, granted Marco is injured.
Fallon has more pedigree than Bright any day - has played at Championship and Scottish Premier League level since 2007.
Kris also has a poor goal-scoring record before this season of only 13 goals in 5 seasons (8 goals in 19 games so far this season).
Not that Fallon's goal-scoring form has been much better in recent seasons!
Wow, it seems Wood, Smeltz and Rojas are our only regular goal-scorers in club football!!! And only Wood is fit at present...
