There's no such thing as the New Zealand Football Championship. And if you mean the ASB Prem, I highly doubt that that information will become available from any source. There's only one league in the world which discloses exactly how much each player is paid.

That would be per match I would think rather than per week.

My understanding is weekly, regardless of whether there was a game or not. But only over the course of the season. 

So, if season was 25 weeks including preseason you're talking $12.5k.

Add what you'd then get paid at a winter club and players do quite nicely out of the amateur game.

Why would anyone think they don't get paid! All ASBP players get paid. Most get in the region of $300-$500 per game. Youth players get less. Its normally specified in their contract and paid direct into their bank accounts.

It may be classed as expenses etc but it is all above board

Ok so we know Wellimgton players earn 12.5 k a year and this appears to be at the upper limit of the league based upon another post of 350 to 500 a week. That begs the question many on here in the know are avoiding, how much do Auckland city players earn?

It's not an obsession I am actually interested. Why is it a state secret? My next question once the Auckland city one has been answered is how much to players earn playing in the winter league. You have hinted at it above so I am interested to know the answer to that one. If you don't want to answer the Auckland city question someone else will I am sure.
