Finals are as follows:

Auckland (1st) V Canterbury (4th)

Waitakerie (2nd) V Team Wellington (3rd)

Home and Away series. Can someone confirm when the first leg is? Wikipedia says the 4th of April.

The weekend of the 4th I think you'll find.

So I take it that TW plays away on the weekend of 4th and the home game is the following weekend?

The teams who were ranked lower get the first game, I believe.

Just a guess, but I'd say the team finishing 2nd would host the second leg.  So TW would be home first over Easter weekend (April 2-5).

Yeah.  We're at home, probably easter Sunday if Newtown is free.

Watch the website for any updates.

There is a national youth league game next weekend though.

Canterbury beat Auckland? The same Auckland who are unbeaten? Over 2 legs? Haha. Good one bro.

Three for me, and two for them.

The bairns are keen to go along on to the SF first leg. So things are looking good.

Would it be frowned upon if we turned up with nix scarves?

I figure the stripeys would look a bit out of place but they also have: Season 1&2 strip; black supporters polo (big phoenix lettering on the front); YF T's. Thoughts?

Half the crowd is in Phoenix or Fever kit so you'd be all good, in fact apart from Fred Woodcock, you're not allowed in th media box unless you have Fever kit on.

Bit of forward planning - which is a rarity.

Parking close to Newtown Park would be a bit on the scarce side I imagine next Sunday @ 2 pm.

Any tips for punters?  Is the carpark @ Newtown #2  likely to be full up?

Luvverly - kids are quite upset that I stopped buying expensive sh!te food at Rof after a couple of games.  Will splash out on Sunday since the $10 entry will mean some discretionary shekels will still be available.

Last time we played Waitak there was no sausage sizzle.

Oh dear. See? It's very civilised in most of West Auckland. We aren't all like that. So please, I hope some of you can come up for the second leg, to the beautiful West. Where the crowds are generally awful. But we have trees everywhere. Looking forward to these games. And hopefully whichever side wins this semi, wins the title. Yay. Go Waitakere.

JordyBean does have a point though. TW crowds have been shocking all season, especially the last few games. 125 at a pseudo-quarter final isn't really good enough.

Three for me, and two for them.

If you think about it, 500 at Kiwitea street against 125 in Wellington ain't that different if you take into account the populations of the two cities.

Also add in to the fact that most regulars were away in Sydney at the time of the game against Cantabs Utd.
