Redbum, I find your comment out of order for saying that you could pick pretty much any ROSLYN player, we all know that we are the biggest club in the south island with the best players too boot, the only problem we have is the ref's dont like us and do there best to help the oppsition win games.
I'm not sure if you actually play football or you may be one of those small minded people that like to stir trouble, so my vote for biggest f**kwit would go to you

Apart from the management not telling you all exactly what's going on and exactly what players they're looking at, where is all the "we're doomed" themed angst coming from? I know most of you will know the situation down there better than I do so just wondering if I've missed something.

Ah that's more like it - a sardonic southern response, and equally as important - some team news. Thank you thefixer - please let us know how the second trial goes since there are some Otago fans like me on this forum who are part of the diaspora and not as omniscient as you.

thefixer where have you gone? You said they were naming the team after the weekend, or has the program changed? Perhaps we have so many good players it's tough to decide. D-day for naming the squad with the league must be imminent surely...are there still more trials to come?

you can pretty much say anybody under the age of 22 will be in the team.

How did mepham and watson not get a trial for u23 dont know, two very good players
In Watson's case I would guess it is because he is a tad young (19 right?) and there quite a few slightly older strikers who are in front of him...Chris Wood, Sean Lovemore, Dakaota Lucas and Andy Bevin to name a few..not sure how old Mepham is.
