Green Island, since when were they contenders? Too much talk.  Bunch of spoilt children who's parents told them they were good at football

Why change a winning formula?

GI have been contenders since they've been top of the league...

Green Island have made an impressive start and well done, however Northern & Qtown are horrible & they get another easy game against Mosgiel.

Green Island 5 Mosgiel 1, GI to top the league Sat night!

The thing that gets me on this forum is the amount of people that complain about G.I, YET.....

From the first post on page 303, all you have done is chat about G.I.

Feeling real dusty today....

GI are a skidmark on society, their home ground used to be a tip, and not much has changed

Dunedin football is a disgrace this year

Get a grip mate! Sunnyvale is the best pitch in Dunedin (excluding the Cale). Your last sentance should read "MOSGIEL football is a disgrace this year". Green Island to be top of both the SPL and Fletchers come Saturday night after two easy wins against Mosgiel.

Haha dusty rhodes, you have no clue do ya. Why would you change something that is working? I for one wouldnt change a thing! Sunnyvale is looking a picture at the moment and there is only a few teams that wont be contending this year. SPL is up for grabs this season, will be interesting who keeps the winning streak going! If you have nothing good to say and are just gona make stupid comments, you can F*** off. Cheers.

Dunedin football is just full of boys that when the going gets tough they can't roll their sleeves up and get on with it.

Interested to see how long GI remain at the top of the ladder after playing some decent opposition.

Mosgiel are up for this one. It's a Darby match. Roll around 5pm sat all I can say.

Word is Burgess may play the last 2 rounds. Tasty odds of $2.50 for him to snatch the golden boot for another season.

Is Jesse Wright the Luis Figo of Dunedin football? Leaves one rival to another and reignites the rivalry! I wouldnt be surprised to see a skinned pigs head thrown at him tomorrow.

We are a modest bunch but our gi spirit and our pure quality ball movement was what set us apart from the plainsmen and believe me they were very plain.

But hang on GI you...LOST.  Don't lose site of the reason we play...we play to bloody win - fuck 'ball movement' and 'spirit'. All kudos for the weekend's games goes to...Timothy freekin Horner.  Good job there coach.  But the horse are gonna come horse bite ya this year (well I hope).
